i dont get the impression that charlotte is any more or less safe than 10 yrs ago, granted i live in ballantyne past 6 yrs where crime is mostly vehicle break-ins. 100x safer than 80s/90s. all just depends on where you are though.

i dont drink, so the whole brewery thing is lost on me. i just wish charlotte had more interesting geography features. at least more walking nature type trails are popping up.

Charlotte homicides per year

though I'm biased, I spent most of my time in Charlotte working around N. Tryon/Dalton Ave area right where the mens shelter and food bank intersect (and more recently the tent city). im not exaggerating when I say I'd legit fear for my life walking around there.

I mean yeah if you spend most of your time hanging there you'll probably have a different perception of Charlotte

Just have to post a rapid reaction to Deshaun Watson choosing the Browns...whew. Panthers dodged a bullet there.

And the Falcons.

I’ve wanted the Saints to draft Desmond Ridder since before Christmas. When the Saints were said to be in the box seat for Watson, my Ridder dreams took a hit.

Now Watson is going to the Browns, I’m back to keeping everything crossed for Ridder - who I think can be similar to Watson…….without the off field red red flags, dividing the fan base and general perception of the team, giving up a bunch of draft picks and almost a quarter of a billion dollars in guaranteed money.

I like Ridder's size and athleticism. He makes the easy throws...look easy. Not all do (Cam, we're looking at you). The Saints need a bridge, but Ridder would do well down there in a year or two.

I hope the Panthers find a way to sign Duane Brown, trade down into the high teens and draft Malik Willis. They can swallow Darnold and (Foles? Dalton?) for a season and bring Willis up in 2024. And I think Darnold can still be good if he gets his head right.

I'd like you guys to draft WIllis just so I would get to see him at least twice a year.

I'm skeptical of him a little, because of his college competition and how raw he is, but if he hits or even gets close to his ceiling he's going to be amazing.

Did you see any of his pro day? Kid is so powerful.

Winner

I refuse to believe that this is an actual fact.

In my mind Todd Fuller didn't exist after 1998 or thereabout.

Seriously? You know he got in trouble years ago for something similar in a press conference.

I am currently listening to Breaking Benjamin. Something along those lines feels fitting
