Yes they played in NY but unfortunately no, it doesn't clear anything up. The law in NY was always weird. Unvaxxed home players were not allowed to play but there was no such rule for visiting players.

 Seriously that’s a stupid law if that was the case. My bad didnt realise

Anyway we’re not playing the Raps so all good.

Get your vaccines people ffs

A municipal law regulating working conditions within the city naturally doesn't apply to people who work outside that municipality.

You're right. It created a strange situation as far as the NBA goes but the law made much more sense in the broader context.

The law is silly because it only applies to people who reside in the municipality. It should apply to people who take up any type of work in the municipality irrespective of whether one resides there or not. This is the djokovic conundrum. He was kicked out of the australian open because he ignored the laws that applied in the state he traveled to

If it was a regulation that applied to everyone, such as the mask mandate during the height of COVID Pandemic, then sure, but whether you like it or not NYC is not in a position to require out of city employees to follow NYC business regulations. NYC COVID Vaccination mandate is a mandate against businesses that operate in NYC, it's not a mandate against individuals.

Random Stat: The Celtics are the most efficient cutting team in the league scoring 1.41 points per possession.

They really should be doing it more with so many willing/capable passers on the team.

In November, this team wasn't cutting it at all. Now I'm seeing multiple guys cut

Celtics Offensive Efficiency and Rankings, Post-Trade-Deadline (23 games):
• After Made Shot and Deadball Turnover: 1.17 PPP (1st)
• After Defensive Rebound: 1.18 PPP (4th)
• After Live Turnover: 1.43 PPP (5th)

No longer just an elite defensive team.

18-5 might look disappointing but it's still the best record in that span.

Isn’t the NBA a business that operates in NYC?

Jaylen Brown is not employed by the NBA.

Highlights some of Tatum's passing, Horford defense, and Jaylen's shot creation.

Celts did what they were supposed to do against the Wizards. Crushed them. Looked pretty good. But again, it was a weak Wizards team. Coming up are the Bulls and a weird Bucks team that are sitting starters for some reason. There's some jockeying for position in these last games that I'm sure I don't understand. But the games will be played and the dust will settle and then playoffs will start and then there'll be no more bull. Hopefully we get out of the 1st round and get R. Williams back and see what shape he's in and maybe do some damage to some people.

The Bucks played the Bulls handily from what I saw in Chicago. Celts should do the same. Gotta hold serve and beat the Bucks after that. May come down the last game for thec2 spot.

The Bulls are horrible because Nikola Vucevic is absolutely useless against decent bigs with size. Celtics have Horford/Theis. They would need to dominate him on the offensive end and shut him down defensively but I am not sure they can due to their size.

I tend to under rate Brook Lopez but he was phenomenal last night. He does make the Bucks look a lot scarier than they have all season.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

you beat me to it. I was just gonna post that tweet. It's glorious. even crazier that those stats are all full season stats - it's not like we're only looking at stats since jan or feb.

we really could win it all this year.

take care of business in 1st round.

Get rob back in the 2nd round.

win the championship.

it could happen.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I want to official declare that I want Al here next year. He is just too good at gluing this starting unit together. He looks very "young" right now and we can easily lower his minutes next year if necessary.

One more year. Al won't decline that much or at all in one year.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

If Al keeps playing the way he did tonight he can stay until he's 50.
