They play through more less superstar fouls. Also guys don’t beat their player as much as they do in the NBA.

is definetely bad basketball if you are comparing to professional play but it has its own charm even for a guy like me that doesnt follow ncaa

McCormack likely has a better shot, because of his real NBA size, but even him it will be hard to make it as rotational player.

People will talk about what a great game that was, but honestly that was some of the worst basketball I’ve seen in a long time. It was only close because both teams were awful, sloppy, and stupid.

It really just goes to show you what a massive jump it is to the pros from college. Most college players cant even handle a basic pick-in-roll or bounce pass into the post. Both team’s Guards were turnover machines and extremely inefficient chuckers. Neither team plays any defense off the dribble and couldn’t handle even simple back-court pressure. Everything was just chaotic and careless and just kinda hard to watch. Yikes.

Did BillSelf avenge the Illinois loss against North Carolina in the championship game? It’s a stretch if the narrative for sure and everyone in the Illini world hates Bill for leaving, but for him personally nits at least a good cocktail party story.

He was 5/24 from the field! And that doesn’t include all his costly turnovers. He was absolutely horrendous. Dude single-handed lost Carolina the game lol.

I wouldn’t even touch him in the 2nd Round of the draft.
