My biggest issue with Nash is still his idiotic defensive schemes.

Why does he insist on switching everything when we KNOW it doesn't work? And it hasn't worked all season?

All we do anymore is overhelp and get bad mismatches. Why is he so stuck on this stupid defense which gives up 130 a night?

Is he intentionally trying to tank the season? Or is he just an idiot?

Was Nash ever on a decent defensive team? I think we need to look at our Defensive Coordinators when it comes to the defensive scheme.

Does it matter? the type of stuff failing us isnt some elaborate defensive scheme. its the complete lack of a scheme or in game adjustments. you shouldnt be gutted by reggie jackson surrounded by 10 day guys for 4 quarters.

Bad defensive scheme that leaves players out of position constantly, or overhelping on players and leaving shooters wide open.

But the offense is no better. Yeah I'm sure KD and Kyrie love being able to jack up 50 shots combined but it doesn't help when they aren't on the floor and the other players don't know what to do because the offense doesn't generate open looks or involve back door cuts and off ball screens.

I've seen more complex offensive sets out of high school teams than this crap.

It's the lack of offense that has me blown away... it's literally MVP type performances to put up pts here... never consistently on the offense.... hence why no next man up cuz there's no ROLES or SYSTEMS in place to succeed.

Reading up on coaches. Would love for Sam Cassell to take over from nash. He already has a relationship with Simmons so that's a plus.

I'd love to give Sam a shot, but I don't know if another rookie coach is ideal. If anything, I would try to throw a ton of money at a legend like Pop or Coach K for a 2 year run, and try to have a young guy like Sam groomed as a successor.

I see what you mean but I wouldn't considered Sam a typical rookie coach since he has been through the coaching ranks as an assistant for a while now. His basically pro ready to go just needs his official chance. But getting a legend like Pop isn't a bad idea either.

Cassell and Nash are nothing alike. Nash wasnt a rookie, he was an unqualified incompetent glorified shooting coach. Sam Cassell has 10 years experience with 3 teams as an assistant coach. its apples and oranges. one guy spent less then 2 years as a "consultant" the other has a decade of experience on an NBA bench

The moment Nash got hired I was happy cause you just felt there was not gonna be a match with Kyrie/KD. Anyway, everything was going the right way for Brooklyn until Kyrie took his talents to you guys. Prok started worshiping and there was only drama, drama & drama.

We had the best season in Nets NBA exsistance last year, led by Kyrie, who had his best season as a Net. Where on our way to beating the NBA champions before injuries to Harden/Kyrie hit after embarrassing the Celtics with Kyrie ethering their team/fans/city... Off the court Kyrie has been an outstanding ambassador for the community, donating, setting up non profits and fighting against inequality. he also helped put the spotlight back on Boston as being a super racist place.

Kyrie has had 5 of the top 10 performances in nets history in his short time hear, as well as helping bring Kevin Durant to Brooklyn. Kyrie becoming a net is the best thing to ever happen to the Nets.

Meanwhile, Boston continues to be plagued by racism with a team of Selifsh me-first player that consistently fails to put ego aside to get to the next level. Celtics fans still blame kyrie and are obsessed with him like a dumped girlfriend who cant move on.

The fact you have to add Kyrie praise, Boston racism to every post you make says enough your tunnel vision on things.

Enjoy the Kyrie tunnel. Hate the one you loved before all of this just because he brought in a coach you dislike.

It sounds like Doc Rivers & Quin Snyder's seats may be a bit warm. I want no part of Doc, but given our need for somebody to implement a system, Snyder would be a great fit. Many criticize him for not getting out of the 2nd round, but I personally think he's overachieved based on talent.
