Really think that of all 3 of LBJ, Davis and WB were healthy at the same time it could work. Obviously WB needs to be the 6th man and have a role like Manu back in the day

Everyone keeps blaming Westbrook but it was Lebron's stat padding and lack of defense that killed this team.

What are you talking about?
The only times Lakers looked like they could beat the Pelicans and get the 9th seed was when LeBron was scoring a lot.
They lost because LeBron didn't score a lot in 4th. If anything, Lakers needed for LeBron to average 40 in the last 15 games to make the play-in as the 9th seed.

The only times I saw LeBron stat padding was in 2-3 quarters for the whole season.

The Lakers offense is fine. They score over 110 ppg. The problem is they give up 114ppg. The problem is defense, leadership, and chemistry. That all falls on Lebron's shoulders.

The only thing LeBron(and AD) did that was bad was force Lakers to get Westbrook by trading their depth for him. Lakers role players weren't great on offense but helped make Lakers a good defensive team.

I think the only move Lakers needed to make was to get Hield and not trade their depth for Westbrook. They would have been a 6th or 7th seed even with LeBron and AD missing games. I would have only picked Suns over them in the playoffs as long as AD and LeBron were healthy in the playoffs and that too not by a big margin.

Anyone who thought this team would be good after signing all those jock riders and Dressbrook was/ is a caz who knows nothing of chemistry, on court or off, nor judging character. That’s like all of ESPN.

Any team that casts off players like Caruso, Hart, and Zubac like trash and reverses the development of THT to play vet bums deserves all the bad fortune they get.

The rest of the league won today. No more 24/7 talk about Lakers and Lebron. Maybe some kid from a small village from far far away will somehow discover that there are 29 other teams that also play.

Who am i kidding, ofcourse ESPN will somehow manage to drag Lakers into every game conversation that no one will ask for.

Bulls made the playoffs after going 30-52 so anything is possible.

They are for now until Siver decides to extend the play in to 12 teams.

Ill News wrote:What's funny is that the Clippers played without Kawhi for the whole season, and PG missed about 3/4 of the season as well, and yet they've clinched the 8-seed. Lakers had LeBron healthy for most of the year, and AD still played more than the two Clippers stars put together.

What was AD saying about the Lakers not reaching their potential because of all their injuries again...?

To be fair, AD has a point. Their big 3 played a total of 21 games together which is barely a quarter of a season and nowhere near enough time to make a proper judgement. Now that doesnt excuse the god awful poor roster construction around them or the impact that WB’s contract had on said construction but I give the Lakers a pass cause of injuries and they get an Incomplete from me.

I'm glad to see it. Now get Lebron off the team already. That stat padder should go chase that all time scoring record some place else.
