Re: Davis: I'm not injury prone.
Sheesh how can you be so out of touch and not self-aware of the fact that you've missed more than half of a season in two consecutive years prior to making a statement like this. Nobody is asking about the severity or what got injured, being injury prone just means your always injured and thus unable to play.
What is scary is that he is suppose to be in his prime now @29yo, and as a 6'10 big man, the leg/knee/foot/shoulder injuries are only going to get worse.

He's not injury prone, he just misses a lot of games due to injury while getting paid like a first option superstar.

Re: Davis: I'm not injury prone.
that's exactly what an injury prone person would say...
honestly though, everyone's biomechanics are different and there are people that are more susceptible to injury. AD should have started preventative training much, much sooner because at this point he probably has many chronic imbalances.
you can tell he's frustrated too but his ankle rolling analogy is funny because you can definitely do exercises to prevent ankle rolls (or how severe they are). steph curry and tobias harris are two great examples of guys who had chronic ankle issues early in their careers but fixed them and have been pretty healthy since.

Re: Davis: I'm not injury prone.
Injury-prone means frequently injured...which he literally is
56, 62, 36, 40 games played respectively over the last 4 years. If that's not injury-prone I don't know what is

He's lucky to have made it this long considering his frame and it didn't help that he literally grew 10 inches throughout high school which didn't allow him to properly grow and develop into his current frame leaving him injury prone.
Just call him Toni. It fits him perfectly.

Davis has certainly changed since the trade. He's still an excellent player but as you know he's not dependable enough. Lebron seems to drain some of his teammates because AD just seems deflated and bored.Grumpy Heat Fan wrote:Submitting yourself to be lebron's robin, after you were a top 3 player in the nba with the pelicans.... now you are a whipping boy, lebron gets all the trophies and credit, and you get all the blame and don't get superstar treatment like when you were the franchise player. you made your bed, destroyed your career, no longer seen as a franchise player. no crying now.

Re: Davis: I'm not injury prone.
I'm sure he's worked really hard to get to this point and kind of understandable that he gets annoyed and tries to pretend like he's not injury prone. But honestly, if you look at his high-school/college pics, it's easy to say that he's mostly just an overgrown nerd and not a born athlete like LeBron for instance. He can now groom himself to look nice in street clothes but ultimately he is what he is.
It must be nice to get that kind of growth spurt when you're already invested and interested in basketball. He's not the only player to get hundreds of millions in NBA salary due to getting lucky with (some) genetics. But he probably wouldn't be in the league as a 6-foot-2 or something.

he worshipped the phony goat and receiving his punishment. your from chicago you cant resort to shortcuts wheres the blue collar work ethic. irving realized he was getting exploited and was smart enough to bolt before his career ended like love. Davis should have ran after the 1st yr instead he pledged allegiance to lebron for eternity by being a klutch.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Anthony Day-to-Dayvis calling himself not an injury prone would be like when alcoholic says he does not drink alcohol
