Pleasantly surprised on availability and costs. Obviously they went quick so it went from "hmmm, maybe i should look at this angle" to "holy **** add to cart now on first green seats you could find"

I was on vacation and didn't get a chance to dive into this. Did you have to pay for all rounds upfront?

Option to pay by round.

i wasnt really sure what angle to root for but now its very obvious:

Round 1: Chicago
Round 2: Brooklyn
Round 3: Philly
Finals: Golden State

This is not only our easiest path but it generates the most resale value. i only missed two home playoff games last year, so id like to recoup some of that.

Playoffs scheduled to start April 16, so should have Game 1 be either 4/16 (Sat.) or 4/17 (Sun.).
Anyone know what uppers are selling for from the team? My access opens later today

Annual Full Season Member Event Review:
Overall, it was worth going to on a lazy Wednesday night. Players were Thanasis, Mamu, Lindell with Jim hosting. Maybe 400 people attended and seated in the half-court section.
Cons:
Required to be selected as Benefit: Nothing in this event prevented this from being open to a larger group. felt it should have been a guaranteed benefit.
"Players": I knew going in no rotational player would be there, but you have 2 guys who weren't here last year and 1 guy who is probably the last on the roster. Players came in from tunnel at 7 for an hour. Zero interaction as they were on court and fans were in the seats 20+ feet away.
Cheapness feel: They handed out drink coupons at the door. Turns out it was only for fountain soda. Bottles, alcohol and food were available at stadium prices. Seemed kind of tacky that they gave you a coupon for a small fountain drink with no lid, would it have cost $100 in syrup just to say unlimited soda?
Venue: Doors opened at 6 but then since it was unreserved seating you went to the seats right away and couldn't get up since the rows are so long. You just sat in your seat for an hour watching championship highlights until the players came.
No Interaction or other activities: If you were making this an exclusive benefit, it wouldve been cool in the atrium or practice facility if they had places you could stand and sit. Have random **** out like a pair of Giannis's shoes, Brooks jersey hanging, something that another fan wouldn't get to see or touch...Instead we just stared at a TV in a sit for an hour.
Giveways: Raffled off a Midds, Mamu, Lindell, Thanasis and Bobby signed photo. Seemed pretty limited for 400 people paying $ks over the year.

Pros:
Players: After initial annoyance, it was really cool to hear some of the stories.
Thanasis- Said KD and KI were the 2 toughest players to guard in the league; called out a few teams have super stars (Nets, Philly) but that the Bucks were a family
Mamu: Said Harden was the toughest player and pointed out how Harden hit 2 3s on him during ring night and got immediately benched; said how he told Zaza a couple years ago that he wanted to play on the new bucks court and be on the team - joked about someday buying this one and having an academy; mentioned Giannis dunking on him within 2 minutes of first practice
Lindell: Said Paul was hardest to guard (I looked back and Paul had 17/19 on us); both him and mamu seemed genuine in saying vets are helping them
Video: Lots of post when back room video that tears you up a little.
Ability to pick up other member benefits: Always thought it was annoying having to pick up a box during a game, so was nice to grab stuff and bring it home without missing action.
Jim: Was never a big Jim fan but nice he came back and gave some good Finals stories

Again, overall I'm glad I went. You can't have a bad time watching bucks championship video and hearing players give personal stories.

As much as I question Thanasis is a NBA player, he is a good soldier. He does a ton of these events, always looks happy to be there and just a positive guy to be around. Also noticed for the auction, there are a ton of his jerseys and signed photos. Its probably nice for the organization to have a proxy like that as almost a first lady type role. Someone to give good insight to Giannis and his journey, but without forcing Giannis to go to these things.

I'm guessing whoever gets the Nets will get the prime Sunday 2:30 afternoon slot. Or maybe the Saturday night 7:00 slot. Bucks/Nets, Celtics/Nets, Sixers/Nets, Heat/Nets would be the most interesting first round matchup.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Lol, I was fine with my one cup. I just meant I thought it was weird they had better controls on their fountain soda than the championship ring giveaway. When you are given a drink ticket at the door, you usually just assume it is for beer/alcohol and set up weird expectations at the concession stand being told by annoyed woman the drink ticket only covers fountain soda. IDK Why bother wasting time handing out a drink ticket instead of just saying fountain soda free?

Oh, it's insane and I totally agree with you. No adult gets a drink ticket and thinks 'soda'. I just saw 'unlimited soda' and immediately went to a place.

I'm hopeful there are positive changes coming to the loyalty program. I agree something like that should just be standard to all. Its such a damn crapshoot on the events, especially with such short notice often. I select meet an alumni and Jennings was 48 hour notice and Dandridge was 24 hours. Luckily I was going to Jennings game. I hate using half my points on $25 concession money, but at least I'll use it.

My guess is to non season holders that upper baseline will be in $50-$70/ticket range pending row. If ends up being Nets, I think secondary market will be higher.

Being round 1 is Easter weekend im gonna be selling. I want to post them, but StubHub won't give me a digital delivery option.

New VIP access to the Deer District that you can win passes to now or buy in the future as an NFT? Lame.

It will be interesting to see how many show up down there for the watch parties. Last year the playoffs started a month later and the weather was a lot nicer. I imagine if we're in the Finals again it will be packed. But earlier rounds when it's 42 degrees out may have sparse attendance.

For any of you that have tickets, please either use them or give them away to family members.

If you listened to Bill Simmons pod last night, he extolled the virtues of the Celtics home court advantage, said best in the league. Rusillo then brought up Milwaukee, and Simmons doubled down on Boston.

Would be a traves-shamockery if Milwaukee fans sold their game one and two tickets to Bulls fans on Stub Hub.

Unfortunately I think that's exactly what will happen. STH cashing in and waiting until round 2 to use their tix.

Us getting a crap timeslot on easter is going to lead to a ton of resale for G1. Saturday would be such a different story.

I think resale would be the same if it was Saturday. Resale will be high because of FIBs not Easter. The Brewers have had large Easter Sunday crowds. They probably won't this Sunday since they're competing with the Bucks. Unless the Bucks play at night. Hell the Bucks game will be 2.5 hours, easy to plan your other activities around it. Bucks Xmas game was very popular.

I see your point - but the super late notice on the day itself and the announcement on the time not coming until later in the week throws a wrench in things for most normal-level fans. I would have for sure gone any other day but don't think I'll be able to swing this one with family stuff. Luckily I hope someone in my STH group will still be able to go.

I tried signing up to win passes, but I had problems submitting the form. Has anyone else had similar difficulties?
