Otto was a solid role player but having a #3 pick in a stronger draft was probably the best chance to have a way to build a 50+ win team with Wall, Beal and X. Of course, it doesn't mean EG would have made the correct pick in a stronger draft, but it's unfortunate that the draft class was so weak.

Yeah, not a great draft, but there were two hall of famers in Gobert and Giannis, and there was also CJ McCollum and Steven Adams.

Wizards were so in love with adding another one for their marketing department that they didn't bother to pursue any trades.

How about the time the Wizards fired Eddie Jordan and had Ed F'ing Tapscott come down from the FO to coach the team.

Remember a few years ago when we cleared out space on our roster for two years making it publicly known that we were gunning for Durant, only to not even get an interview. Just a one sentence rejection over the phone :noway:

That offseason has to be at least the ultimate #SoEG if not the ultimate #SoWizards

We didn't. We swallowed all 4 years of that deal. We cut him in his final year, (but still paid him).

I didn't have a problem with that. He wasn't called Tankscott for nothing.

#SoWizards:

You get a guy who was a high second round pick in a trade with Charlotte. Then, when the main objective of the season is tanking and player evaluation, you play the guy in a grand total of one game. On the other hand, that's more PT than Winston, Ayayi, Schakel, Goodwin or Eachenique got at the end of the year...
