A win is a win I guess but that was an embarrassing end to it.

Good news is Powell looks good.

Seriously though

The only things worth noting from this game are PG13 was +31 on only 28 minutes he played and Norm scored 24 points in only 23 minutes and loooked bloody good.

As bad as it would have been to lose, by far the most important thing was Norm getting back and looking good. I mean as far as we know, it’s only what his 4th game as a Clipper?

some of you guys can't see the forest for the trees and it's mega-silly

we literally coulda lost by 50 and it would have been a great result because powell looks great and paul george isn't reporting any complications.

The "big picture" is that nearly blowing a 39-point lead to a bunch of backups is embarrassing no matter what the circumstances are. And let's not forget about that other meltdown we just had against the Bulls not too long ago. I hope Lue and the players aren't as blasé about this as you guys are, because this is not the kind of habit they need to be forming going into the postseason.

Don’t think a loss would of been a good sign but this team had this game under control most of the game. If the starters were getting worked and Powell looked bad then it would of been a issue

Coach left them in to figure it out and gut it out. The NBA isn't the NCAA. Or the NFL either. It's a players' league.

I. Wainright +36
G. Lundberg +22
B. Biyombo +24
A. Holiday +30

Never heard of these guys [except draft bust Biyombo who ended up in Phoenix on a 10-day]--they'll have to buy a ticket to smell the court in the playoffs so they played like bowling bowls on meth.

Our guys just got out of their way. T-Mann, RoCo, Hart and of course Norman coming off the bench. Even Coffey will see some playoff minutes. No way they're gonna let some deranged Phoenix fourth-stringer end their season.

The fun is just about to begin!!

Big picture. Little picture, too. PG, Batum, and Mook took the fourth quarter off. Pretty sure the purpose was to see how well the new pieces (RoCo, Powell) fit with PG. Pretty sure we saw that in the first three quarters. Batum went out with 5:06 in the third and was done for the game. Same with Morris at 3:35. PG got subbed out with 2:30 to go in the third--and when PG went out with 2:30 left in the 3rd, we were up 84-51.

I'm sorry our bench gave so much of that back in the fourth--but I think the idea was to see how the "new" starting unit looked/looks.

Lundberg is a Danish dude we just picked up a couple of weeks ago and Wainright is a 2-way player, but how do you not know the Holidays? They're like the Wayans Brothers of the NBA.

And Biyombo to his credit was a key contributor on the Raptors playoff teams, so not a bad third string for us.

Craig was going for the ball when he tried to stop Covington. How was that dirty?

Martin to Vaught gets a little bit, mmm...invested, lol, we all need our ways to vent in life.

MartinToVaught wrote:The Suns are so petrified of facing a healthy Clippers team, they have to cheapshot all our players apparently. Pathetic Mickey Mouse team.

What's the reference here, I don't get this one, I've seen you post it a few times, what does Mickey Mouse team refer to? I've seen people refer to the bubble and Mickey Mouse ring, but I don't get it for the Suns, I just thought it was some inside joke.

The team being +31 with PG on the court was good enough for me. The team being -17 in 7 minutes of Moon and -20 in 9 minutes of Coffey isn't going to keep me up at night
