Gotta watch out for Atlanta. They have gotten their mojo back really late. 8-3 the past 10 games.

Took him an injury to finally get the rest he needed. Now if he’s out longer and we play the Nets in the first round……

If Celtics lose tonight (@Milwaukee) I would rest all of our main guys for the next 2 games.

Brooklyn has 2 games remaining (home against the Cavs, home against the Pacers) and should win out, meaning they'd stay in the 8th seed with a chance to become 7th as well.

10 days away from the playoffs. Don't want to risk any more injuries. Gotta hope the Bucks can close the deal for us tonight. Lol

I agree, if celts lose to Milwaukee tonight we need to go ahead and just rest our starters, to get healthy from all the little nick nack sore items they got going on. I would like to see Tyler out there with the rest of the crew, putting in more work, and getting more confidence for the playoffs, another 2 30pt games would do wonders for him. It would be his chance to go for that 40pt game to.

I'm a few years older than PJ and I can attest to the time it takes to recover as you get older. Spo spamming PJ all season long wasn't the best move. 37 year olds shouldn't be playing so many minutes as undersized PFs switching on every D play.

Spo has legit said PJ rejects any notion of resting or taking games off. But, let's make sure to posture to put this on Spo

Fairly easy to rebut that POV. If a player can potentially harm himself due to his age and slow recovery then the coach can limit his minutes. I don't think PJ makes the rules here. Will be interesting to see if PJ can hold up for the playoffs.

Yea we used to force Wade to sit lol. I know they’ve been saying that about PJ but they could definitely force him to sit.

There's a lot to managing a locker room. More than I care to try to understand with such limited info.

I will say most of our other vets seem to have coordinated rest. If PJ rejects it, IDK that its something to force.

We should have the 6MOY, DPOY, and Spo should be a finalist for COY that probably goes to Williams or Jenkins.

Locked in the 1st seed, normally these things are decorated by accolades to end the season but we’ll see.

Bam does talk a little bit about switching and being away from the basket where a drive may happen where you'd want a big protecting the rim.

Bam also mentions he wasn't allowed to play in the finals with his hurt shoulder unless he could do a push up.
