Blake is the ultimate teammate. sacrafices scoring, only takes good shots (even if the results on his three are down this year), still top 3 in charges taken this year even with a billion DNP-CDs. dives for loose balls, high IQ on both ends, creates momentum out of thin air, gets his teammates going, etc...

What is eating at me is that this can't be just Nash. If KD wants Griffin on the floor, he's getting playing time. If the stars don't agree with his lack of playing time, you'd hear subtle comments about it. Given how outspoken Griffin was after the Harden trade, my guess is things will come out after he signs with a different team in the off-season.

I think people overstate KD's willingness or drive to have a hand in things like lineups and decisions. He is more like, as long as whoever is here plays and works hard im good. which is probably everyone post-harden. I also think he feels like he is so good that no matter who plays center we are fine. i cant imagine him being like "yo play blake more" just like he wasnt making a stink when we sat and dumped DJ.

KD seems like the kind of guy that stays in his lane.

Like he'll speak his mind but he doesn't seem like he'll try to force anyone to do anything.

Good seeing Patty Mills play well again. Good to have Curry back, I really wish we didn’t have to run KD and Kyrie in the ground. Big win

Prok. You seriously don't think Blake can do 90% of what JJ does way better? with the 10% being driving from the perimeter. JJ has had a bunch of games we're he's contributed to wins, but there's also some REALLY ugly stuff there. 4.9 fouls per 36 (higher than TLC), negative net rating (although some of that is down to playing during the massive losing streak)... I dunno. I know Blake's shooting has been brutal, but he just has more positives and I think he's viable at the 4 next to clax or LMA in stretches with 3 other shooters (Bruce has been feeling that corner lately, so maybe Bruce can play too). Am I talking crazy? You made the argument for not cutting JJ and I know there's a logjam, but I just can't stomach Blake getting dogged like this while JJ fouls in the bonus and puts his hand up. WE KNOW YOU FOULED JJ!!

He's the franchise player. He can stay in his lane, but also provide very influential feedback about wanting Blake on the floor. A simple, "we're too sloppy & out of position. We need to give Blake minutes, because he knows where to be & how to move the ball."

It was great experience witnessing half of the bar being demoralized and not being exited to watch duh ping pong team  . That look on their faces even when they had big lead was priceless . They knew what was coming entire time so they never got exited one time. 4th quarter is where the boo's started and they started leaving

I was genuinely happy to see another half of the bar being Nets fans. Process of taking over working.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
