This is what happens when you think you know more than one of the best gms in the league.

Its ok to like a player and think a guy made a mistake. Its another to say it was an easy choice and look like a complete fool.

You can't "run away" with any season-long award after 4 or 5 games, that's just silly. As of yesterday, though, he was second favorite for it in Vegas, so there's that.

Yep, every ROY candidate has been decided 5 games in. Never have we had a case where one player looks vastly better early on and another improves and looks great the last 2/3rds or something.

Might as well just give Barnes the trophy now it's over.

There were many who were upset at passing on Suggs, but after seeing Scottie go to work in Summer League, there are very very few Raptors fans who are concerned about the pick. Well Precious is still precious, as in sucks, but his draft pick worked out, random as those are. Jury is still out if you're a hater, or proof that Ujiri can probably fleece the Knicks again next year if you're a Bulieber.
