I think Brunson is pretty good
Here's his stats per36 with and without Luka
This year
w/ Luka : 15/4/4 on 50/42/87 splits, .605 TS, 114.4 Ortg, +3.1 Net, +/- of +2.0
w/out Luka: 22/5/7 on 50/33/82 splits, .568 TS, 111.0 Ortg, +5.1 Net, +/- of +3.9
Last year
w/ Luka: 16/4/3 on 52/42/79 splits, .637 TS, 114.5 Ortg, +6.8 Net, +/- of +4.7
w/out Luka: 20/5/7 on 53/39/80 splits, .607 TS, 111.3 Ortg, +3.9 Net, +/- of +2.5
It makes sense, playing next to a great playmaker like Luka you can see the inverse efficiency-volume thing I always talk about. Especially on the 3pt% this year, almost a 10 point drop
But we have 2 full seasons of data saying Brunson is at least solid even without Luka, so I don't think he'll be bad if we got him
The question is, is he worth the money we'd have to sign him for as well as the assets to acquire him?
