Our final regular season home game! The priority is ever as it has been: development of our young guys rooted in the fundamentals of our system.
And the lesser playing young guys will get plenty of minutes to show what they've learned tonight as both teams are resting many of their main players in preparation for the next stages of the season.
Two-way play, all heart and hustle for 48 minutes. Let's get after it!

I'm going to this game, and I love it! And add to it that it's our only nationally televised game:

On another note, we are honouring an important person in Spurs history, Red McCombs, an original owner who helped solidify the team's presence in San Antonio:

2ND Q: SPURS 44
WARRIORS 54
What happens when starters aren't playing? Well it's a 54-44 deficit with struggles to score and execute.
Great, enthusiastic crowd.
Zach has yet to score. 0 points, 3 fouls. Oof.
Let's try and execute better on both ends shall we, gents?
GO SPURS GO!!!

You are still down there? Are the annoying Warrior fans as loud in the arena as the broadcasts make them sound?
Hopefully you slapped a few of them

4TH Q: SPURS 94
WARRIORS 100
SOOOOOOO SOOOOOOO SOOOOOOO many impressions!
The crowd was amazing, especially end of the 3RD Q when Primo made the end of Q shot to when we were within a basket of tying it after down double digits, to Pop still getting after the refs - I was in the ninth row, his stares are downright scary! - to his rubbing his temples at the very play he was calling for starting out wrong, but then having so many teachable.moments with various players, to Lonnie competing like heck on both of ends, to Zach being so upset on th bench with his play his mouth guard went flying towards Matt Nielsen's feet, to some plays late in the game that, but for a few bounces, could have swung the other there way.
Lonnie actually absorbs A LOT of physicality on both of ends. He had some beautiful makes and finishes on his drives tonight. He led us in scoring, part of four Spurs in double figures.
Primo's passes in the first half were telegraphed and weak and so easily picked off. He got i to some trouble with his wonky handle at times too.
But he settled down as the game wore on and had some pretty buckets of his own. He and Tre held their own, but also had game-high with TOs each from our total 12.
He has some move that are eye popping in person, but is also so inexperienced that you have to take the learning curve for th potential. He's also way bigger than it may seem on TV. He really doesn't that much or that noticeably smaller than Wiggins already.
Out boxing out fundamentals are as poor if not worse in person as the look on TV. This has to be a feature we better get better at and soon. We're still bleeding a lot of points this year way.
LOVED how the guys on the bench were so excited for our better play that got us to within a couple of points in the 4TH Q.
Loved how amazing the crowd was, too.
I'm almost falling asleep typing these words, made more tricky by doing it on a cell's tiny keyboard so I have to get some sleep before putting some coherent thoughts together.
Overall wonderful impressions!

Hey! Yeah still here!
The louder ones were mostly up in the nosebleeds with a few smatterings of GSW shirts in the lower levels, and although the nosebleeders did make themselves heard for FT's or some 3s, no, Spurs fans were way louder throughout.
Weird how in broadcasts it sounds like the away team's fans are louder than they are. Maybe the mic placement or something.
Spurs fans are all juiced up on the Fiesta, too, so there was extra enthusiasm resonating through the arena.
