I would prefer facing DEN and then MEM, rather than UTAH and then PHX, but anyway, just hope our defense and rebounding can stay committed, and our 3 point shooting can be normal

Agreed.

DEN then MEM = Likely 1st round win, Probable 2nd round win. Mavs seem to own the Grizzlies. It's a matchup thing.

UTAH then PHX = Probable 1st round win, Likely 2nd round exit. Suns have the Mavs' number. At least they did under Carlisle.

1 freaking GSW loss & the Mavs would be probable to make it to the WCF. Smh.

Yeah that game was ugly and disappointing. But, the Mavs next game was @ MIL & they won. Mavs went 7-1 their last 8 games. Only loss was vs Washington.

7-1 should have been enough. Only the Warriors won their last 5 games without Steph. Klay had 36 vs Utah. They pulled out the game vs SAS. Even back on March 23rd they beat MIA in Miami. Jordan Poole had 30.

Golden State just played well down the stretch. They're going to be a scary team in the playoffs with a healthy Steph.

Looks like Jamal Murray and MPJ will miss the whole playoffs too, with Murray being out more than a year, to-date. Jokic might get pissed. Nico needs to keep an eye out for developments.

If they want the big talent route, it's Jokic or Lillard who will most likely be available. All other "big stars" are happily married to their current teams. If they want to development their own talent route, then they need to draft young guns with high picks.

Why would Jokic get pissed? Nothing to do about injuries.

I have more realistic scenario. ( I at least hope it's more realistic. ;) ) Jazz lose against Mavs with Luka resting. And everyone in Jazz get pissed.

Lost against the Wiz twice, Knicks twice, and lost to Orl if I remember correctly. Those are all inexcusable.
