A boderline allstar also doesn't have a 50 TS%. His efficiency was terrible.

Scottie Barnes winning rookie of the month for March and April despite Cade putting up monster numbers shows me he has serious pull and is not your typical disrespected Raptors player.

looks like barnes will win ROY judging from all the rhetoric recently. Everyone seem to changing their vote from mobley to barnes.

I don’t think it’ll take that long. It’s usually announced during the playoffs. Wouldn’t be surprised if they announce it during the 1st round to let Scottie hold up the award before a game at SBA

there are 100 voters total
11 have reported so far
6 for barnes 3 for mobley 2 for cade

in all cases barnes is at lowest 2nd

5 points for 1st place, 3 for 2nd place, 1 for 3rd place.

if these were election results they would be close to calling it for barnes.

Yeah, Scottie has this in the bag. The narrative for the first half of the season was that Mobley was having the biggest impact, but Scottie completely closed the gap on most impact numbers and helped lead Toronto to a big 2nd half while putting up better numbers. I thought it would have been very close, but it seems like the voters have mostly come to their senses.

Morant: 55.6 TS%
Doncic: 54.5 TS%
Simmons: 55.7 TS%
Brogdan: 55.5 TS%
Towns: 59.0 TS%
Wiggins: 51.7 TS%
Michael Carter Williams: 48.0 TS%

Cade posted a 50.4 TS% which would be the worst mark since Michael Carter Williams.

I really don't get how anyone could have him #1 on their ballot over Barnes or Mobley.

They stopped doing that. Also the playoffs started late May last year cause of the late season start. It was during the playoffs

I specifically remember they announced it on tnt before a playoff game

and both barnes and mobley impacted winning on their teams who found themselves in playoff positions. Sucks for Cade but that's reality

also cade's numbers are only slightly better ... you have to wonder if barnes was on detroit, what'd he average.
