I don’t think it’s a thing of holding anything against him. We remember that series fondly. We just use it as ammo to get under philly fans’ skin more than anything.it’s just banter.

You’re a bucks fan. Imagine you’re playing the nets first round and Kyrie does a shimmy shake every time he makes a 3. You then end up winning the series in dramatic fashion and he just starts crying after acting cocky all series long. Your fans would definitely use that against nets fans if you ever came up against them again in the playoffs.

i dont think mocking someone crying falls under banter, that would be initiating his airplane thingh after beating him

mocking someone for crying after a loss just comes across as a low blow instead

A cocky player crying after a loss and mocking them for it isn’t a low blow. I think it’s totally fair. If Lowry cried and we lost, philly fans would’ve used that against us. I wouldn’t like it lol but I don’t think it’s a low blow.

I voted Raps in 6. Idk how confident I am in that pick but I’m a sucker for an underdog.

Per the poll and the sentiments I've been reading on this forum, it feels good to definitely be the underdog.

I'm looking forward to seeing these hyperbolic long athletes that I've been hearing about. I'm expecting at least 3 Giannis'.

I hear you but Joel kind of asks for it with his constant trolling and trash talking when things are going well.

I did feel for the guy when I watched this in real time. That series was easily Toronto’s toughest during that playoff run and I can’t even imagine what it felt like for a player to battle so hard for 7 games and then lose like that.
He hasn't really trolled since then. This is more just a bunch of fans being really petty.

The raptors will switch every embiid and harden pick & roll with Barnes, OG, precious, Thad, birch and Boucher. This has been the game plan the last 2 games. Harden will try to hunt Fred and Trent jr but that won’t be fruitful.

Maxey is the guy the raptors have targeted the last 2 meetings and the sixers don’t have a single 2 way player other embiid in their rotation.

It’s going to be fascinating to watch all the matchups in this series.

More like everybody likes trolling the Sixers, even Celtics fans would call Horford as Embiid's Daddy.

If Harden was putting up 27 points on something like 44% FG 35% 3P people would have the 76ers as the overwhelming favourites.

Basically, if harden shows he's still a Superstar in this series, you guys can sweep us, if Harden continues to struggle scoring it's probably going to be a long series.

Embiid will probably average 25-30 points, Maxey is capable of going off, but I don't know if you want him to be your #2 option this early in his career.

This might be the best and most defence oriented series in the East. I expect no blowouts in this series at all.
Raptors have the mental edge in this one, if you follow these two teams then you’ll know.
