My guess is that Cannady got a fully non-guaranteed contract for next season at the league minimum.

This means they are paying him $18,159.33 to suit up for game-82. NICE!

I wonder if it means something regarding Hampton and Anthony future. Propably not, but i doubt they will ever be better than Cannady.
Good shooter and resilient character. Glad he is with us. You can find hidden gems outside 2rp. Miami is doing it and we should as well

Well deserved.

It is a multi-year deal that is partially guaranteed.

As everyone might remember, Canady's Two-Way Deal last season was a Two-Year deal.

He might have a chance of making the roster next season.

It would be pointless to give him another ten.

This is probably to lock him in for Summer League and Camp next year.

Next year and the year after are fully non-guaranteed. So the Magic can release him at any time between now and the start of next season and owe him absolutely nothing.

Giving him $100K was a nice gesture IMO.

Ah... yeah. We aren't really paying/using cap space him 1m+++ next year right? lol
