The myth you need to save it for end of games is so dumb rooted in the myth of the 4th Q. If LA wins this game it will be probably because of their dominant 1st Q/3rd Q.

well it would be dumb to use it in the 1st half unless you are trying to reverse a 3rd foul call on your star player.

Timberwolves have legit talent, really think the coaching can be heads and shoulders better.

Agreed it's probably the most obvious market inefficiency in the league today imo.

Refs did a good job getting KAT out of the game.

One LA team must make the playoffs

Maybe but we also only like players who are good defenders. Doubt Masai would pull the trigger for a player that’s this soft

If I'm Minny I'm taking that deal tbh.
Siakam more versatile and his game is more scalable to the playoffs imo.

I mean yeah put Pascal in this game right now alongside Ant and Dlo and the Wolves are actually scary

I don’t think Masai would. Pascal is literally perfect for what they are trying to do.

As a die hard Raps fan...I don't think I'd do that trade straight up. Siakam is too good a defender in today's age to give up. Siakam has made strides this season.

Agreed. Pascal is perfect for what this team is trying to do. KAT wouldn’t fit into the Raptors system.

i think it's very difficult to win big w/ such a weak defensive center especially in the playoffs.

Every single play is drawing a whistle, it's not even a chippy or particularly physical game

Technically this is how the more physical era's were, you could get away with harder contact, but there were also a lot of FT's. A thread was posted about the 90's physicality, citing the 97-98 season I believe. In the 98 playoffs, teams shot an average of 27 FTA/G. The Lakers (13 games) and the Cavs (4 games) averaged 35 FTA/G. This was with an average of 74.3 FGA/G compared to this season for example at 88.1 FGA. So if you had the same pace with the same physicality and calls of that season, you would expect something like 32 FTA/G average.

If you're a team that routinely gets screwed on bad calls at the end of the game you learn to keep it. Sometimes it doesn't matter since you basically have refs reviewing themselves and admitting they made a bad call. One of the dumbest decisions the NBA could have made.
