Of course gotta win at home against either the Spurs or Pelicans but I prefer the Suns than the Grizzlies.

oh well, good for the wolves

kinda was worried lue was gonna lean heavily on his namesake "starters" even though they clearly needed a better distribution of minutes. how can you not know that reggie turns into all kinds of awful once he gets tired? he finished at 42 minutes, while covington, mann, and powell were really underutilized. once reggie ran out of gas, he got taken advantage of time and time again by beverley. totally insane.

We get Karl Anthony Charmin as expected and blow the game. The Clips never played like they were desperate. They were running through the motions like they were playing with house money.

Love Patrick Beverley and we let him impact the 4th.

Reggie Jackson taking 18 shots while Powell only took 9 is unacceptable. We didn't need 41 minutes from Reggie.

like i said earlier, you guys gotta be tanking for 8th, because if this is you trying your best, you arent besting anybody in the playoffs

There is no way they tanked this game. Zero. They just choked, and will choke again on Friday.

I'd expect him to play Reggie around 20 minutes only unless you wanna aim for the 8th seed. This is Doc type of Stubberness. I know Ty is different than this, he proved it last year. So I'm gonna look what he throw out there for the next game,

it was just so uncharacteristic. four 24 point comebacks this year.

pretty much what i thought. this is the first and only time i was like, whoa is doc rivers on the court and way overplaying the wrong guys?

reggie with like close to 30 minutes is fine, and i guess it was him heating up in the 3rd that caused lue to stick with him. but that was so stupid and i seriously can't believe he thought it was fine. i mean, we just watched an entire season of reggie self-destructing in half our games because he had no juice.

meanwhile, powell AND mann, both capable ball handlers, spent way, way, way too many minutes on the bench. christ

100%. We have way more to throw at teams than the ‘closing 5’ who played too long at the end.

Wolves went on a high energy run which we don’t really have the guys to match, we gotta be smarter with the substitutions.

All that being said, we also went cold at the wrong time, but it’s on us to fight through and still find a way.

Easy there. Let them actually play and lose.

Ty didn't look like a coach that was disappointed in his press conference. He took responsibility for not making adjustments to Russell.

Clips were just running through the motions tonight. Maybe they think they will have no problem on Friday and would rather play the Suns.

I'll believe it when I see it. Literally everything I had been warning about for weeks with this stupid play-in came to fruition and cost us the game tonight. No reason to expect the long scoring droughts, blown leads, pitiful rebounding, and flat-out stupid play from Reggie/Mook to suddenly stop on Friday when they've been a constant all season.

I'm going to assume that Lue's thought was that in those games Reggie was the first option and expending a lot more energy. PG was doing the heavy lifting in this one, so Reggie's energy level was expected to be higher than comparable regular season games where he was posing as a first option.

If Clippers can't win either play in game, then they weren't going to give Phoenix any difficulty either, so at least on that front, I guess we're not missing out on much if they end up losing game 2.

yeah, i mean once covington started showing us he was still the same dude, morris getting starter minutes when both PG/powell were back made me really uneasy.
