Clippers were relatively a tough matchup for Wolves..Clippers are the team against which KAT struggled the most in RS and it happened again today..I feel better about Wolves chances against Grizzlies than against Clippers. Should be a fun series. Wolves have lot of length on defense

Butler on the Wolves made the playoffs too.
Butler didn't make the team have a culture change though. Beverly(along with Finch) has gotten KAT and Dlo playing the best defense they ever have.

**** that. Hope he comes back before and we get to send his ass packing. Love our chances vs New Orleans.

Yes. This was the biggest game the Timberwolves have played in several years - I’m happy these kids enjoy it.
I heard an interesting comparison between Jimmy Butler and Pat Bev from JohnKrascinki of the Athletic. Jimmy came in and told the Wolves, “get in line behind me, or get out of my way.” Beverley was totally different. He’d played the last four years in LAC, but behind true superstars. He was told to play defense, and stand out at the three point line. He was never a major voice.
When he came to the Wolves, he had a chance as one of the few vets to be a voice in the locker room. Early in the season, when the Wolves had lost 3-4 games and were on the verge of another horrible season, Beverley led a meeting where he had every teammate say what he was responsible for. He didn’t do it like Butler - he knew he needed other guys for the team to succeed, so he was like an older brother. He also impressed on them to play defense. Pat’s goals were to double the Wolves wins (go from 23 to 46) and get the team in the playoffs. Pat’s happiness was meeting a goal he’d been working towards since November.

Low key being a good teammate by Pat Bev with that over the top celebration. Now people will be talking about that instead of KAT's performance. Fortunately for KAT he's going to get more chances now that they've advanced. Aside from the year Jimmy Butler dragged them into the playoffs this is the first time Minnesota has made the playoffs since Latrell Spreewell was on the team, of course they're going to be excited

I get Pat Bev's emotion. Listen to his post game interview.
It seems like he took it hard when Clips didn't want to pay him and upon beating them just felt the overwhelming emotion. It's a slow build up of emotions and culminated when they finally won the champ err the playin game.

You didn’t refute anything I said.
Regarding Washington, Towns shot 20% under his average. How often doesn’t that happen? Rarely. Also that was McDaniels first game back. We also had just beaten Dallas and Denver, both better than Washington. That’s why they play the games.
We’ll see what happens, obviously.
Dude you lost to Orlando twice
Lll
Suck it, DH!!!

Screw him. I'm still glad we traded him. Matter of fact I'm glad he made this video so all the Clipp fans who would say how they still miss him on the team can now finally STFU!!

Statistically, I believe the Wolves have the worst win % of any of the major 4 sports since they came in to the league.
Wow, fascinating data. I knew Wolves were historically bad but the worst of all major sports is hilariously bad. Thanks for the data.
Here's an article about it, not sure if it's changed because of this season.
https://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2021/03/02/timberwolves-now-own-worst-all-time-winning-percentage-in-mens-major-american-sports/
With their loss to the Phoenix Suns Sunday, the Wolves added another dubious distinction to a dysfunctional season — they now have the worst all-time winning percentage of any major American men’s sports team.
With 987 wins and 1,524 losses in their franchise history, the Wolves’ winning percentage sits at .39307, just behind the team who previously held the record, the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers (.3932).

if Towns had played well too, the game would have ended much sooner.
So, good luck to all, we continue to celebrate.

"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

I really hate inside the NBA saying Wolves are so talented but play dumb. Just discrediting the job Finch has done this season, plus the fact that we have so many guys who play really hard.
