SPACING SPACING SPACING

Not just Pritchard. We'll need everyone ready to attack off the dribble, move the ball and hit shots when they get the ball out of a tatum double team. rob is out so literally everyone we're going to put out there can shoot the ball.

we've got 6 days off between the grizzlies game last sunday and game 1 vs nets this sunday. hopefully all of our guys get lots of shots up..

Meanwhile, Udoka needs to build a good defensive game plan and have our guys practice it down to a science this week.

We got this.

I think if we get into any real trouble we may see williams back before the second round. If the nets go up 2-1 or tie the series 2-2 I think if williams can go he may then. I won't even entertain the thought of the nets going up 2-0 or 3-1. That possibility is non existent in my brain.

I think, that we have to employ our 3rd String Shooters: Hauser, Stauskas, Fitts, even Kornet.
Put one of them in, around our regular Units. And mix it up.

No Team is going to "Surprise" the other. Not in a 7-Game Series.
But we can throw stuff at them, and just have to tough it out.

There is no fight in that dog. None. I kind of wish he was playing. It would give Boston much better odds. At least we know that Boston can easily make him tap out in the playoffs. We've seen it many times before.

MY lord. How is it that he hasn't played a game since last year's playoffs and still isn't even sprinting or doing anything besides 1-0 work?

Dude should have to give back every penny of that $40 mil contract. Jeez. Like, if you don't want to be an NBA player than don't do it. smh

Imagine if this dude was on the celtics, what type of discourse we'd have on here? lol

Like I've been saying all along, it would have been the most miraculous recovery in NBA history for Ben Simmons to come back and have a good first round series against the Celtics one week after stories saying he was pain free and able to practice with the team for the first time in ten months. Basically no chance he's in actual NBA game shape. I have not been worrying about this at all.

At this point there is obviously something physically wrong with him, but t's hard to tell whether this means either he has genuinely been physically injured for a long duration of his absence, or that he was not taking care of his conditioning during his absence and injured himself trying to suddenly get back into game shape mid season, or maybe some combination of the two. The lack of transparency has been absurd.

He missed a good chunk of time and their record reflects that. This is not a usual play in team.

Durant is probably still the best player in the NBA. That said, the team that crushed us got 41 ppg from Harden and Harris and also had Jeff Green’s length to bother Tatum. Who is going to bring that this year?

The Nets are dangerous and probably as tough a first round match as there will be except for perhaps the Raptors who are probably the second hottest team in East heading into playoffs. Their record since 2022 is as good as Nets record with Durant.

For the Celtics, unlike most emerging young teams, this isn't about a deep run. Jaylen Brown has been to ECF 3 out of 4 years he’s been to playoffs. This guy isn’t a KAT who disappears in the biggest games. Ditto Marcus, Tatum and Big Al. Our championship window cracked open in January. It is now officially finals or bust. We are the team to beat in the East and we are the team playing the best even without Rob. It doesn’t matter which round we lose in if we don’t go all the way to finals. The Nets and Durant have to be dealt with and the Celtics are the best equipped team to do it. Now is as good a time as ever. I think the coach and players wanted this matchup.
They also had Allen in the post whose much better than Drummond.

I was initially concerned about this but Ben simmons is too fragile mentally to come back in a playoff series against us and have a positive impact after so much time off. He might be the first player to break down and cry and run backstage in the middle of a quarter if things don't go right. I'm only half kidding.

I thought they traded Allen and LaVert as part of 4 team Harden deal.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Even a self-entitled brat should be in good enough physical condition to run sprints. Even if it's his own fault, he's not in game shape and cannot physically play right now. Period.

LOL.
Defensive and offensive scheme aside, I absolutely love the attitude shift on this team and I'm more than certain it came from him. There's a quiet forosity to his coaching and I think the players feed off of it.
