We have actually found the edge case where a one-out sac bunt with the lead actually makes some semblance of sense. Now Charlie will extrapolate that out to a whole range of completely illogical scenarios.

Is there also a reason why Garcia can't go more than 9 pitches? The more RPs you throw, the more likely it is one of them is going to have an off day.

And sure enough, that's what is happening. Now we have a HR prone pitcher against one of the most HR prone hitters in the league in the biggest spot of the game with presumably no Romano warming (because, again, Montoyo).

Charlie got bailed out there. Everyone and their mom knew Gincarlo was gonna hit this inning and we somehow had Trevor in to face him.

Very close to a Montoyo game there. Deserved to be as any manager who has a clue what he's doing should have been managing to avoid exactly that matchup over the past few innings (Richards vs. Stanton, 2 HRs in 5 career ABs there).

Montoyo is a cheer leader coach.

Team got too good too fast.

They need a real manager. He wont take them over the top imo
