That's an interesting question...
He has scarcely played during his first three years in the league. He was traded to Detroit less than a month before he was traded to Orlando. That fell through when he failed his physical and he had surgery shortly thereafter. Denver claimed that they were unaware of his foot issue, which is odd.
He is going to be polarizing for the same reasons that Bamba is. His numbers haven't been good so far, but the sample size is microscopic. Bol is more talented than Bamba at the offensive end. The skill sets aren't that different, but Bol can do some things with the ball in his hands and he has a post game. At the defensive end, however, he is less of a conventional center than is Bamba and their deficiencies are fairly similar, so he will probably be best suited to sharing the floor with another big.
I'd assume he is going to be on the roster next year, though we aren't married to him either. He might be a like-for-like replacement for Bamba. I think it is worthwhile to have a look at him simply because we have Mosley and because Bol has a tantalizing combination of tools and skills.
