Ah just spent a few good minutes going through Thread 1 and reading the takes there.
Hilarious how wrong the general sentiment, and how right the front office, was.
People absolutely lost their minds at the pick, and here we are, in a race for ROY.
I'm just glad I stayed neutral on Scottie from the start, didn't know enough about him, but knew Suggs didn't impress me, so I trust in our FO. Looks like they were right...yet again.

At the time there was still 70% of the vote left so Mobley is going to get his votes too. This one is going to be a tight race to the finish.

Man, if Mobley's defensive numbers / advanced stats didn't tank once Allen went down, he probably would've won in a landslide. The Allen injury opened the eyes of some of the voters who overrated Mobley's impact and underrated Allen's.

Stuff like this always makes me feel like a lot of media members don’t know the game better than some of the fans do. Maybe this is why I rather read fan opinions about this team than media opinions.
