Would be typical for Simmons to come back. We will get fully healthy Brooklyn while not being healthy ourselves and should they advance their healthy will crumble against everyone else. A repeat of last season again.

That said. Not sure how much a just returned and unfit Simmons will really do in the intensity of a playoff series in Boston.

I don't think there's any comparison here to last year at all. That Celtics team we put on the court in the playoffs last year was a shell of its former self. They weren't listening to the coach, we had no horford or theis and even Brown was missing from the game. Just a completely different team in every way aside from the presence of Tatum and Smart.

Put one of them in, around our regular Units. And mix it up.

No Team is going to "Surprise" the other. Not in a 7-Game Series.
But we can throw stuff at them, and just have to tough it out.

If any of those guys are seeing minutes in this series something has gone seriously bad for one of the teams.

That's not for sure at all. Boston could lose game 1 and win. Boston could win game 1 and lose. Nothing comes down to the first game.

I realize I'm in the minority on this, but I really don't see Pritchard as a defensive liability.

Yeah, relative to Smart and White he's a liability, but for the most part I feel like he's been fine on defense recently. Plus we can use his outside shooting to take advantage of the Nets' defense - they let the Cavs take a ton of corner threes which they missed and we will need to make. Also Brad absolutely did not run a twelve man rotation in the playoffs, not sure what that's about.

Finally, the phrase "ride his studs" sounds downright pornographic and I'm sure I'm not the only person here who thinks so.

Simmons sucks dude. Like he really really sucks. His first round play last year was all time bad.

But sure, he's gonna come in and systematically destroy us after a full year off without having played a game for the nets or with that roster ever. Ya right.

And what would it say about the Celtics if he did?

Over in 5.

Who hit the miracle half court heave against us that must have caused this?

To be fair, maybe he just gets smacked around a lot and just takes it in his personal life too.

One thing's for sure, if the Nets win Game 1, Game 2, or Game 3, it's over for the Celts.

Celts go up 3-0 and this will be an interesting series.

I still don't think the Celtics stand a chance if the Nets get to 4 wins.

But I'm gonna wait and see how it plays out after before I commit to that take.

I just realized if Timelord had his surgery two weeks before he got injured, he'd be back in time for game 1. It's just poor planning on his part.
