As a Nets' fan, I hope Boston sees Ben as a non factor on offence, because leaving him wide open to play 5 on 4 defensively will definitely help Boston lose in 5 or 6..

I know Nets fans are new to the Ben Simmons experience but you gotta understand Celtics fans are coming from a place where we've eliminated him in the playoffs multiple times and have very rarely (if ever) seen him even have a good game against us. So maybe it will be different on the Nets but he's just not a guy we get worried about.

We eliminated your team without Ben and now just added him on top of the team that eliminated you.

Now explain to us how 1st team all D guy going to hurt us again?

You added Ben well sort of he hasn’t played yet you added patty mills seth curry and Andre Drummond. You subtracted joe Harris James harden and Landry shamet.

This is not the team that eliminated us last year and this Celtics team isn’t the one y’all eliminated.

We’ve added horford d white theis and got Jaylen back.

Even if somehow Ben is the perfect fit and is in shape he hasn’t played in a year.

I mean not because of the law but because your player chose not to be vaccinated and that’s his choice but u are what you are-a 7 seed. You also were the one talking about last years team compared to this years teams not me. Last years team also had harden and kyrie against us.

So it’s completely irrelevant what happened last year. It’s a new year it’s a new series and we are a much better team right now than last year. Not sure u can say the same about the nets right now

What

Yo this is Celtics fans with their clown ass takes. Go back to your board and get facts straight.

What’s a clown ass take? Did kyrie choose not to get vaccinated? Does last years results have any bearing on this years series? are we the 2 seed now? Are you the 7 seed now?

And as far as going back to boards I’d suggest the same to you but your entire board has about 3 total posters on the entire sub forum and is a complete joke....talk about scary hours

Imagine not understanding that your team had a big 3 last year against a 7 seed and even hobbled the gravity that a player like harden could provide

During the Celtics series ? He played 182 minutes. KD played 186 and kyrie played 185. To help you out that’s a difference of 4 total minutes played between KD (who led your team) and hardens 182 who was 3rd in total minutes.

Imagine not knowing this stuff and calling someone out for clown takes.

James harden played 35 mpg averaged 28 pts 7.5rbs 10 assists on 55/47/90 shooting splits on 9 ft attempts a game you’re delusional he was a key contributor last year in that series.

You’d think that a Nets fan would be informed about their own team.

In the first round last year Harden averaged 28/7/10 on a 76% TS, in 36 minutes per game.

Exactly, on one leg and still did it your team. Now think what 6.10 all D guy can do? That's a huge help for KD.

In the first round last year Harden averaged 27/7/10 on a 76% TS, in 36 minutes per game.

No point in arguing with someone being disingenuous and willfully obtuse.

I don’t think we will see much posting from them in a couple of weeks.

Not worried about these clowns one bit. More focused on that Greek linebacker running through the paint all day.

Like last year. Good worm up practice. Go vs real team next.

Just looking over our numbers from that series Tristan played 27 mpg omg wtf.

Fournier played 33+ a game and kemba had 31/19/90 splits in the 3 games he played.

Also joe **** Harris murdered us in that series shot 50+% from 3 on more than 6 attempts.

If the Nets use Simmons in the screener role Brown plays, where he attacks down the middle 4 on 3 when KD/kyrie get blitzed, he could be a stud in that role. Combined with his transition play, defense, and rebounding/size, he will be a very nice addition to their rotation, its exactly what they are missing.
