We really comparing Bridges to superstar talents like ARod and Watson? There’s already doubt on whether Bridges is worth a max deal and what he did last night certainly didn’t help his case

Bridges is as talented as any of these guys in isolation. Bridges will make 200 plus mil in his career - trust and believe that - no one will remember this mouth peice thing- plus he owned up to it and said he messed up -

Some of you need to relax.
Yes, he's a pro and yes he should keep his demeanor. But above all he's human like all of us.
How many times have you lost your temper at your working environment? And how many times have you regretted? Bridges is no different.
He'll learn from that and he will become more mature and professional.

Had that mouth piece hit you in the eye and cause some serious injury, you be singing a different tune. Just because he's human and we all make mistake doesn't excuse his behavior.

I didn't say he's excused.
He'll pay the fine, he'll apologize as he should.
But the crucifixion of a young player who hasn't shown signs of being an a*****e in the past won't do anyone any good.

She needs to sue his ass back to the hood

"Your contract extension?, No my contract extension"

That's another strike for racism. Stop calling stuff hood when you mean it negatively.

Basically, sue him into poverty.

Miles deserves this.

Take this L and I hope your contract suffers/you get sued.

So as a fan, throwing popcorn at a player gets you banned indefinitely, but as a player, throwing your mouthpiece at a fan gets you a $50k fine. Makes sense.

I wonder if he'll be suspended a game at the start of next season too, I figured it would be about a 50K fine and a one game suspension but so far all we're seeing is the fine. There is a tendency for punishments in games where a team was eliminated to be a little lighter. Pat Bev only got one game for that shove on CP3. Bynum got only 5 games and a $25K fine for that infamous cheap shot on Barea.

First ever fine, apologized immediately minutes after via twitter, and in the press conference today said he and the Hornets are communicating with the family and have apologized. Handled right. Continue to seethe

Not smart, the apology opens him up to easier litigation

Yeah, but maybe you take that risk to be decent, when you f**d up.

If that was my kid we would 100% be suing

100%. Even if Bridges reached out and wanted to make it right? Just flat out sue him regardless?

Would you prefer to pay a $50k fine as a fan too? :o

50k is a lot of money, but he's making millions per year.

I think he should have gotten suspended for a few games with a lesser fine.

It is almost as if fans and players are two different things.
