Instead of trying to tie the game with Chapman here, he's going to let Tapia hit. Because Montoyo.

Is a homerun too much to ask Tapia? Sheesh!

Full day off (No pinch hitting). Analytics department said he needs full day off. IT's clear charlie ain't making lineup cards or playing decisions, the only thing he may be doing is deciding when to do pinch hitting (With certain players off limits) and when to bunt.

It's not like Chapman is on fire or anything, though 100x better than Tapia! But more likely to strikeout, like he did at an alarming rate last year.

Tapia doesn't hit HRs. Lowest flyball rate in the league I beleive.

Think the umpire is in Vladdy’s head tonight. Got some BS calls low and away. Now all of a sudden he’s waving at every low and away pitch.

Kirk has been absolutely mediocre to ****, outside of the couple of weeks when he was called up in 2020... Should've traded him last year.

Severino and Holmes are also really, really good. But yeah, he's a bit wilder than usual.

Has 2 hits and a walk tonight. 106 wRC+ last year too. He's fine.

meh...infield dribbler plus cost a run in the first because hes too fat to tag up. Moreno cant come fast enough.

Kirk's the only thing preventing us from seeing Collins full-time right now. I can accept his inability to run well.

Does anyone know what is the earliest Moreno can come up, factoring in the service time manipulation that delays his free agency for a year? I remember reading previously that it had to be some time in May. Would rather see him up here getting at bats even as a DH or Catcher, and even in pinch hit situations over guys like Tapia, Biggio, Zimmer, or Heineman.

I thought Chapman was just trolling Cavan but he might actually be hurt.

This has been unexpected.

Their star closer, our bottom of the lineup.
