It's kind of telling, because many agree that LeBron should have won more MVPs, he had the stats and team performance to back it up.

When asked the question if LeBron should have more MVPs a lot of people are going to say yes but when you ask specific years it suddenly turns real quiet.
I answered this question a couple of MVP threads ago lol.

Might've even been me who asked that lol. The point I'm trying to make is if you add up how many MVPs every player should have you'd get a much higher number than the actual amount of MVPs there have been.

Of course not, Windhorst or Wright or Bayless are white as well.

More black people voted for Embiid than white. It's the opposite for Jokic.

I don't know what is the color of the skin of people from The Atletics I only know they are serious basketball site. They voted Jokic. Michael C. Wright from NBA.com is serious analysist, he is not 100% white. Basketball entertainers like Perk, SAS... are black. Basketball entertainers like Nick Wrong, Brossard are white, they are still entertainers.
BTW if somebody has 1 parent white 1 black, what is their skin color. A lot of basketball players have mixed parents. So for all of them we can say they are white as much as they are black like Murray, MPJ, Curry and Seth, Ball brothers...

Practicing his go-to move...free throws

Just kidding! I think Joel is learning what it means to be a leader. He wasn't one in the past or just was very young one, so to speak. Now, they bring in James freaking Harden and you can still tell he is an alpha there, and rightfully so. As great as he is now, he still has room for improvement i believe and with his mentality I have no doubt he will continue to get even better (health permitted).

Lol, the Curry and Ball brothers, all have black fathers who played basketball... Cmon lol, obviously they got their talent and athletic genes from their black parents. It's not wrong to say either. If Michael Jordan had a kid who became a superstar and was married to a white woman, you think people would attribute their talent to the mother? Klay Thompson, father is Mychal Thompson, mother is caucasian. You're going to say that's not a black player, and they Klay got his talent from mom?

Only player in that list who's white parent was an athlete was MPJs mom. Also, Murray's mother was Syrian, and dad is Jamaican, so he's not white at all. He's half Middle Eastern/Arab, half black.

Chris Broussard is black bro, lmao.

Nothing makes me happier knowing all Embiid's season will be remembered for is to provide context for the greatness of Jokic.

"Jokic's 2nd MVP was especially competitive. Look how good Giannis, Luka and Embiid were that year!"

I don't know where some players picked they talent, they are technically as black as they are white. BTW I didn't know Syrians are not white Asad looks pretty white to me. Half of the Italy and Greece has Haplogrup J as Middle Easterners.
So now, who are white people - paternal Haplogroups I,R,N?

White is considered caucasian. Western and Eastern European. Italians are considered white but many are darker skins, like Sicilian. For Greece you are talking about immigrants.

Middle Eastern/Arab is most definitely not white, yes there are paler skin Middle Easterner's, just like there are pale skin Indians, doesn't mean they are white. If they were, they wouldn't be harassed all the time post 9/11.

The point is, the majority of the voters for Jokic have been white (of the 35, only 4 are black). For Embiid currently it's 50/50 (10 black and 10 white). My point stands, Jokic's voters are mostly white.

Just when I think this thread couldn’t devlove anymore, now we are checking the ethnicity of every voter.

The victim complex needs to stop. This isn’t like giving the MVP to Kevin Love when he was doing 26/12. Jokic had one of the greatest individual season in the history of the league. There’s no outage here.

Now your reasoning is because of race? Seriously you should stop. What are you going come up next to why Embiid lost. The thing is his team wasn’t that much better than Denver’s. Jokic put up better numbers playing with less. He led his team in pretty much everything ppg to stls. To bring in the race card really?

Ah yes, the Race Card. The Last Refuge of Scoundrels (and, yes, The Racists themselves).

One of the two Trolls here once (we both know who they are) is once again grasping for straws, and this is the most pathetic one yet.

--Jokic buried Embiid in every single poll we had here all year, and this clown kept on with his BS and ongoing trolling.

--Jokic buried Embiid in traditional stats, and he tried to discredit them to no avail.

--He buried him in impact metrics, and he tried again. Inane argumentation.

--He buried him in advanced box score stats, and he tried yet again.

Don't pay attention to it, or respond directly. You're wasting your time and allow those two to spam and degrade this entire Thread.

Jokic was the most valuable and greatest player this year. Easily. No matter how you slice it.

According to the tracker, 50% confirmed votes are in, 70% of those 1st place votes have gone to Jokic.

It's white, black and looks like Asian people voting for Jokic.

For those who doubted the ESPN poll a couple of weeks ago, Jokic is on pace to finish with 60-70 1st place votes, 20-30 2nd, and a few 3rd or lower. Just like in the straw poll 3.0.
