I haven’t been keeping up to date, is the NBA still testing before every game? Only when the player is symptomatic? Every other day?

Bam has been out in H&S protocols and will return tomorrow just ahead of game 1 and reports are that he has no symptoms. So it seems more likely that the testing is scheduled.
