This is what I'm talking about. Season on the line based on how you behave off the court for the next 2 months.

Oh it's totally right...but it's not that different than what Bruce Brown did... "This is why we will be advantageous."

This is lockerroom material for the Nets. I don't want to give KD any fuel. I don't think they can beat us. Unless KD averages 38/7/10 on 66%, and I don't want the media to give him further incentive to play out of his mind.

If you put it that way, then yeah i agree. Adding fuel won’t do us any good. Writers and boston media should stop over hyping our team. This would still be a very tough series in general.
There's something special about this team, but I don't think we should be counting eggs before they hatch

Yahoo Sports

No matter which projection system you prefer, they're in agreement on the most likely team to win the NBA championship. And it's not the Phoenix Suns.

The Boston Celtics have captured the hearts of the computers. The Celtics are favored to win the NBA title by three different projections sites, and by a wide margin in two of them.

That's a reason the odds at BetMGM have moved from Celtics +1000 to +750 since Monday.

Celtics are favorites of analytics

According to ESPN's BPI, the Celtics have a staggering 39 percent chance to win the NBA Finals. The Suns are second at 20.8 percent and no other team is in double digits.

If you prefer Five Thirty Eight's projections, the Celtics are at 31 percent to win the title. The Suns are at 21 percent, the Milwaukee Bucks are at 13 percent and those are the only teams above 10 percent.

Then at Basketball Reference, the Celtics lead the way with a 26.9 percent chance to win it all. The Suns are 23.3 percent and no other team is above 10 percent.

Three different projection sets, three votes for the Celtics. Two have the Celtics far ahead of the field.

Finalists. OK
I wonder when the Actual Winners will be announced.

Celtics should be well represented on this.

I don’t know. A 6-10 ambidextrous dribbler who can outrun many guards and take a rebound coast to coast is a huge addition to any team. I am certain he could step on court after a year and 1/2 of playing and be a factor trying to do that and then dumping off to KD if he can’t get to rim. Even taking into account his 34% free throw rate, his inability to shoot and his probable lack of conditioning and all the limitations that come with a herniated disk - I think he would be the second best bench player on either roster. He might not be able to lock down Tatum but he could bother him and Brown a little more than many other defenders with his length and speed. I’m not sure that is enough to move the needle enough for Nets but I’d rather Celtics take care of business from the outset of series.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

  An article written by Bulpett is locker room material? Might as well start posting message board posts in the locker rooms.

Don't lie. You'd giggle if Skip Bayless spent 20 minutes ranting about someone's comment on realgm.

I’m actually surprised that hasn’t happened yet with the trash he spews. Regardless that would be incredible and if he’s lurking I hope he does this.

In a recent interview with NBC Sports Boston, Brown talked about the evolution of their friendship. “Off the court, me and Kyrie might have started off with a lot of bumps in the road,” Brown said. “But as of lately, Kyrie is somebody that I've connected with. Somebody that I call a friend, a brother. Somebody that calls me to pick my brain at this point.”

Tatum, Smart, and now Jaylen have been seduced by Kyrie.

Depressing.

Watching Cavs shoot well from 3, play Allen 32 min., have home court advantage …. and get smoked in second half by the 9th seeded Hawks without Capella….

…..really makes me wonder about the Nets
