Why would they? If they miss the playoffs their lottery pick goes to the Blazers for McCollum. It is the Blazers front office rooting for the Clippers and Kupchak firing up the BBQ for the Pelicans party.

I wonder if the team is watching Atlanta v Cavs.
Physical, defensive playoff basketball which the hornets seem allergic too

Cavs fans/homecourt >>>>>>> Atlantas

I think we would be in the playoffs if we were in the 7/8 matchup. Oh well

If Alvarado hit that 3 then Pelicans go up 18 and suck the life out of Staples. Instead Morris hits one and it's down to 12. I'm greedy. Anything less than a 30 point halftime lead is unacceptable.

Isn't hard to look better than a guard who is a poor defender and shoots 36%. Good on him for getting paid though.

Of course the Pelicans get murdered in the third quarter 38-18. We are cursed

Not going to lie after what I saw from Edwards today I'd take him over Lamelo this very minute. Lamelo has more upside but dang. Edwards also at least tries to be humble.

Edwards and Ja have the killer instinct LaMelo needs. He needs to get bigger and meaner and stop crying to the refs.

Gotta give credit to the Wolves' coaching staff. Team was absolutely pathetic before Finch showed up.

Melo has been crying about not being able to change his jersey to #1. He better play like a #1 next season or else I might regret that we didn't get Ant Edwards over him.

For real. Finch is one of the best coaches. Swap LaMelo for Maxey (Doc and Embiid and Harden with great roleplayers) or Edwards (Finch with KAT, Russell and great roleplayers) and see how much press LaMelo gets as the next all-timer.

I'd take edwards over Melo. His impact offensively is as good or better than Melo, especially in tough 4th quarter or playoff level. Defensively he is world's better. Physically it's not even close. Plus I think we'd have a better chance of retaining edwards long term. Both present similar knucklehead risks.

Melos only advantages are playmaking and marketing.

Shew I thought Mikal Bridges for DPOY was a lock. Guess not.
