Still have Dallas favourites to get to 3rd seed but hoping GSW bench can pull out a couple of surprise wins.

they play the lakers, pelicans, and the spurs so theoretically them beating all three wouldnt hurt the quest to eliminate the Lakers

They already have Harden. I'm asking what they would gain by settling now. Why not wait until the offseason?

If they wait until the offseason then it makes them look petty. Honestly everyone should move on from that disaster because Simmons hasn't even played in a single game for the Nets.

He wants to get paid and why let that linger into the offseason. Just a bad look for the Sixers.

I don't think players should get paid if they are cleared medically and decide to sit out on their own. Maybe a game or two for personal reasons or even a week but not for months.

****, Bucks blew their game against the Mavs. Gonna be hard to get the Warriors in 3rd now.

I think the Warriors end up at 3, and Dallas ends up in 4. Warriors have played well as of late, without Steph.

Warriors up 11 with under 3 left in the first half
Mavs tied with under 2 left in the first half

Hornets/Hawks might be the most exciting play-in game this year. I could see the score being like 135-128

Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Brooklyn figured out a way to avoid each other funny how that happens.

Doncic with a calf injury. This sucks for the Mavs. If he misses a game or two Jazz become the favourite to advance.

i dunno if we want things too easy. the wcf will be uber tough regardless of who ends up on the other side of the bracket and i think going up against the mavs with healthy luka would be a better test.

More that Milwaukee found a way to avoid the Nets. I don't blame them (if that was their real intent). They got the easier matchup IMO.
Nets/Celtics will be nuts (assuming the Nets win their play-in which they should). Both teams currently considered title contenders. East contenders at the least. One will be gone after round one. Similar to the Nuggets/Warriors series.

The good thing is there isn't an easy path to the finals for anyone. Both the East and West have scrappy teams and solid teams. I really like the idea of the play-in, but it kind of sucks for the #1 and #2 teams, for they have a shorter time to plan for who they go against. For example, the #1 team has a possibility of four different teams it could face.

Yeah, the Celtics, if healthy and RWIII can get back should be able to take care of the Nets if they meet.

It's unlikely, but the Nets could still also meet Miami or be out entirely.

It will be interesting to see what Oladipo adds to Miami. He had 40/10/7 last night, 13/22, 5/11 from 3 and 2 steals.

Michael Jordan's gone 16 seasons without winning a playoff series as Charlotte Hornets owner.

LOL Jazz really won't beat a Luka-less Mavs team. Last season they were 1st seed and pretty good team, but now are a complete joke.
