Jalen McDaniels looking good out there. He's got a little Pat Bev-like irritant effect as well. Love the way he pressed JJJ after he got postered by KAT. I wanna see Vanderbilt really hone into what he's all about next game. If he doesn't try to do too much and focuses his energy on his assignments, he's gonna be a hell of a x factor too.

That was basically a dream game for me. KAt got to redeem himself and didn't go nuts with stray voltage. Ant had a coming-out party and millions are just now realizing how good he is. The role players stepped up big, hit clutch shots. Wolves had control of most of that game and held their own on defense.

Marvelous win! As long as some disaster doesn't strike like an injury or total KAT meltdown, I am pretty much playing with house money and nothing can go wrong for me at this point. This is the dream I had for this season and I am living it.

Hopefully KAT’s ankle is good too good for the next game.

Where is DH? First he starts a thread saying we cannot beat the Clippers (whoops,) then he is MIA on such an auspicious day. Maybe he is too scared to come out to play.

That is probably Minnesota's best win in 18 years. The team played tough and survived poor games from Russell and Vanderbilt. The Wolves felt like the better team most of the night which is really nice to see.

And Naz. Very, Very, Very, Very, Very bad game by Naz. KAT cannot play 43 minutes every night.

Pretty cool to see ANT turn in the best version of the prospect he was at draft time

Yep. PB is a good defender but he’s to small and old to fight through the screens of JJJ and adams to keep up with JA who’s basically the fastest guy in the league.

PB is better off making sure bane doesn’t get hot from 3. Maybe getting in the head of brooks and bane. Throw them off their games. Brooks seems like a guy who could unravel at any moment

I wish finch would’ve subbed kat out in the 3rd more.

Almost like at the 3 min mark then put him back for the entire 4th. ThAts almost a 10 + min break with timeouts and end of quarter break

He can probably irritate Brooks as well and make him do dumb things with his seemingly short temper

We've been waiting 17 years for this. Thibs didn't count. The way we won was special.

Can anyone link me to advanced stats for this game? I am wondering specifically about pace for both teams.

What a game!!!

Game of personality and awareness at the same time!

Ant is a little beast! This was his first PO game! Amazing..

Towns silenced everyone...JMcd and Beasley were invaluable...

I have a question for you: how about giving Okogie a few minutes in game 2 on Morant?

Ja is absolutely amazing and really hard to stop but if he is marked by two excellent defenders like Pat and Josh he could lose some energy..no?

Anyway...

1-0 ....ARROOOOOOOO!!!
"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

Choked on huge stinky crow like all the Mcdaniels haters in his thread earlier this season.

One thing that can take the Wolves to another level is Ant (and to a lesser degree KAT) getting the same superstar whistle that Ja gets. If the same level of contact was called for Edwards, he'd easily be able to get another 5-6 free throws a game.
