I was prepared for a playoff loss with Barnes showing the world who he is. This is sadly the worst possible outcome. We all know this team didn't have a chance to do much this year, but they play tough.

Embiid is a good guy cmon guys he’s not intentionally hurting anyone.

I think it depends on which part of the foot you're stepping with. If you're stepping with your heel and don't have another foot heavy, then ya there's a lot if danger ... Otherwise, I don't think it's as dangerous.

I think the really dangerous thing about what Embiid did though was the hipcheck. It's really dangerous to throw your hip into someone while pinning their foot down, for obvious reasons.

Bad blood from the last playoffs with the Hawks. Mix in the Kawhi game 7 buzzer beater and all the pressure from the media.

Embiid is not trying to be a good guy.

I just rewatched and it broke my heart to hear Scottie screaming like that. But I don't think what you saw was Embiid throwing his hip, I think it's Embiid planting on Scottie's foot and then losing his balance.

The Barnes injury play was obviously accidental. That said Embiid is clearly playing reckless with his elbows. We need to rough him up a bit, hopefully Birch can do it
