The scream tells me months not weeks.

Unfortunately.

Ultimately we don't know, but this could very well have not only cost him the rest of this series but also his summer development. It's really a nightmare scenario, potentially.

I mean I'd expect he's out the rest of the series but he's also 20 years old. It amazing how much quicker you can bounce back at that age. The boyz will still fight I don't doubt it but tings got alot tougher

He's 20 yrs old not 30, even a grade 1 sprain heals faster the younger you are. I had a grade one sprain at 18 yrs old felt like someone shot my foot, but 5 days later was jogging on it, depends on the individual pain tolerance and healing powers, Scottie is young he'll bounce back but might not comeback for this series.

For me, this is like that time a poster here was performing coitus and had to stop when he heard about Bargnani's appendectomy on the radio.

Hope scottie is OK. Sometimes I scream like that when I bang my funnybone but will feel fine a few minutes later.

I bet your grade 1 ankle sprain wasn't caused by a 280 pound giant. That's the big difference

We'll see what the diagnosis is, but a grade 1 sprain is the lowest grade.

I sincerely hope Scottie is a Giannis-like rubberband. Let's keep up those positive vibes from before the game folks! つ◕_◕ ༽つ

Embiid injured 3 times today. This type of behaviour warrants a hard foul next game.

Right after this ankle sprain Giannis was back and playing within 3 days. So there is hope and it did look really bad at the time.

Too bad we don’t have a Ibaka type of player who would do that on our team this year

I was actually involved in that type of a game. Things got rough, I kept playing and banging. Next thing I knew, someone recklessly bumped me while I was in mid-air for an offensive rebound. I landed on someone with a right ankle fracture and had to have plates and screws in my ankle.

I still remember sound of the fracture - it's like a thick / dry bamboo branch snapping.

In rec ball, when this happens, you should walk away / go home.

If someone is going out of their way and being dirty / reckless... you don't just ignore it.

Who is going to fill in for Barnes? We don't have a bench...

time will tell. Personal experiences most often don't help but I also don't think it's more severe when you scream louder.

I saw Gio Reyna in tears after he got injured earlier this season. He payed two weeks later, missed a total of two games. We can’t judge based on the amount Scottie screamed. We really don’t know, as of yet.
