I get they have to still call fouls even though it’s the playoffs, but there was some ticky tack bs being called there.

I don't know what has been worse this playoffs, the "Cooling Pouch" ads or the LeBron "going to the league" ads. Oh my.

They aren't dominating, Tatum and Brown are 1-6 - they'll get going (prob same with KD and KI, should be a great finish)

You also can't set a legal screen sideways, but here we are

No one is here to watch the refs steal the spotlight. Let the players play. Both teams getting called for garbage calls so far. Maybe in the regular season but there should be tougher whistles for the playoffs. Guys getting fouled 20 feet away from the hoop is dumb

Theyre winning the TO battle, shot 4-9 from 3 vs 1-4 for the Nets and are even +1 on offensive boards and are only up 1. Wonder what happens when that 3pt% flips for a quarter

Williams would have rammed into him anyways so your point of perhaps other Celtics player not calling out screen is valid. But In noticed in real time that the Nets player turned his shoulder which is technically a foul on the defender.

I don't like all the fouls either, but silver lining may be....Game has the possibility of getting chippy...Refs may be sending a bit of a message...And as a Nets fan, I'll take it...Celts still got away with fouls in that quarter...I hate how the plays hard D narrative lets a team get away with more physicality

I wonder what happens when we actually start shooting better?

Celtics shooting under 40% and Nets ocer 50%. I wonder what happens when that flips for a quarter?

What an absurd claim.

Durant is by far our best defender and yes he is good.

Nets had a top 15 defense until KD was injured.

After he was injured it fell to bottom 5.

Over the last 15 games of the season with him back it was #8.

Is this some coincidence? He is a good defender.

So now your original claim (which was top 10) has changed to top 15? Good to know. Although I'm sure if I did some actual research, I could probably refute your claim they were number 8 over the last 15 games (but nah, I got playoff basketball to watch).

And my point is that he's not an EXCELLENT defender. If you want to argue good, then fine, but even that's a tough argument to make.

Youre wrong as usual. But no surprise here.

I wonder what other good defensive players are in the Nets starting lineup lol. Kyrie? Seth Curry? Must all be Bruce Brown right.

*slow clap*

Good job, in a multitude of debates between us, you've finally been able to back up your claims with something that's actually correct.

Now all you gotta do is do that with your claims that Irving wasn't bad defensively in the 2016 finals, that Kyle Lowry isn't an elite defensive player, that Joe Harris is just as valuable as Jarrett Allen (and those are just off the top of my head) and you'll almost be at that point where you'll be allowed to be taken seriously as a poster again.
