I think Nets will take game 2 and this series will still go 7.

Sure but Kyrie probably won't be quite that hot. That's what is so tough about the Nets, one of those two guys is probably going to be on fire. If both are it's just Over. It takes defense as good as the Celtics to take 'em down.

Seems like a growing up moment for Tatum. He sonned KD today.

Eh I thought KD just didnt get some shots to fall in the first half. Second half they got much more physical with him though.

Being physical with KD isn't something new.

All season I've seen him dominate physical matchups with elite shot making.

He choked today.

Guys mad at Kyrie? Guys mad at Durant? Sometimes great games happen.

That was just great coaching by Idoka. Sent the double at kyrie. Tatum guarded Durant.

And he didn’t over coach.

KD looked slow out there, couldn't get any separation or get to the rim. Celtics have the defense to match up with KD. Even with a heroic performance from Kyrie, nets fell short.

Unfortunately, Celtics in 5

Someones gotta explain it to me tho. I legit cant wrap my head around Nash coming out of a timeout and deciding to put Curry out there when he has a 6'8 athletic dude in Kessler. Ya, he's not a great defender, but he's decent, and more importantly, he's big. Who doesnt make offense/defense sub up 3, on defense with 45 seconds left? lmaooo

You’ll never see me blast Kyrie as a basketball player, he is terrifying lol. Him and Tatum were heads and shoulders above everyone else today.

Crazy game lol, I feel exhausted.

Was also one of Jaylen's worst games. And Tatum only had 3 shot attempts in the 4th, including the game winner. Neither will happen again.

And Horford having 20/15 etc. Multiple unusual things. I just trust Kyrie+KD a lot more in the playoffs than Brown and Tatum who haven’t carried their teams to series wins and titles in big moments like the Nets duo.

Starting to see what we saw in KD before he went to GSW… Not saying he ain’t great but…. he gonna need to bounce back cause - he was the 5th best player out there today… if not 6th

What a game. I said from the start it would be C's in 7. This could end up being the most exciting series of the entire playoffs. Whoo!

Kyrie made the choice to not get vaccinated. We all know a healthy Nets team is a top 3 seed and doesn't play BOS in the 1st round. This is exactly what he deserves

i don't give a **** about the vaccine, that perfomance was insane, MJ levels

Kyrie is as talented a scorer in nba history. Pure talent and ability, he’s always the most talented player when he steps on the floor.

Only my dumbass Celtics would want the Nets. I can’t believe they picked this route with Tatum playing 45 minutes. Both teams are gonna be wiped out at this rate if they advance.

I’m fasting and my mouth is hella dry. I don’t like Kyrie but he and brown deserve insane amount of respect for how they are able to fast and play at this level

they didnt choose nets we forced them

They could have purposely lost to the grizzles and slide to the 4th seed but okay. Celtics had control of not wanting to play the Nets. I think maybe vaccine issues around the Celtics probably made them choose it would be better off choosing the Nets

I wonder how much Tatum practicing and playing with KD during the Olympics helped him pick out KD's game a bit more, maybe take some moves for himself and be better at defending KD. Surely experiencing the pressure situation for the Gold Medal was a level up in terms of succeeding on the highest stage.

Hello Brooklyn wrote:So much for Boston not being clutch.

They made the game winning plays tonight.

Even after Kyrie was unstoppable in the 4th.

They were choking the game out in the 4th quarter. Missing bunnies, turning the ball over etc. You lost because it took KD 47 minutes to realize that he just doesn't have it tonight. Forced ISO ball when you can't even hit wide open 3s.

Kyrie was great at the offensive end and at the defensive end he was good ... Top 10 to 5 talent if he ever focused 100% on his game .
