I got more respect for NJ., sure Kyrie and KD but they're more. This might be a classic series.

Congrats to the Celtics on a good win. You wanted the smoke with the Nets, didn't duck (like the Bucks did).

They're a lot more, we'd love to have Drummond, Curry, Dragic, Brown, or Claxton on our team and in our rotation. All would see big time minutes. Especially in our Timelordless version of the team. Claxton is the exact type of backup we'd want to give us some verticality and athleticism that we need.

All that said... they haven't been in NJ for like 7 years now lol

Not gonna lie I thought when kyrie hit that 3 the game was over. I would have bet my entire bank account on it.

This game made me regret every argument I had with you about welcoming this game. The team was determined to stop Durant and dared Kyrie to beat them and credit to him he almost did it.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

You were right in almost everything you said TBH. The only difference between us was I had more respect for KD and kyrie than you did I think  These two are really REALLY good. They can win any one game against anyone regardless of anything else happening. That is why I didn't wanna play them.... That being said, I still got us in 6.

I didn’t respect Kyrie enough for sure. He’s a different dude right now. I also underestimated the Nets ability to bother and defend the Jays. We gotta hold the home court Wed.

Smart and JT were really on the same page with that pass. It was like a back shoulder throw from Mac Jones to Jakobi Myers. Plus, they squeezed it in there with 1 tenth of a second to spare, on the move with no play call in mind. Similar in a way to Bird stealing Thomas's in bounds pass and DJ cutting to the hoop, the 2 of them in mind-sync somehow.

Is Kyrie the Vanguard of the stealth load management movement, skip vaccination and stay fresh by only playing half the regular season games.

Also not sure if this was mentioned or not but wow one of the worst calls to end an epic playoff game. "Celtics go up by 1!!!....they wave it off". Nitpick but kind of annoys me when I watch the highlights lol.
