Skill wise never been a mire skilled offensive player. Footwork, shooting, body control.

He is a subpar defender and sometimes the ball sticks to him.

Great game. Nets missed their chance to steal one.. probably Celtics in 5 now. Kyrie is going to have trouble sleeping tonight and that's fine by me. He seems like a world class prick.

Noway is Durant going to have this poor of game ... I think Nets will win this in 6 games. Tonight was Kyrie night, but I'm expecting Durant to be allot better next game.

Jaylen Brown won't play this poorly often either though.

Durant was getting hacked all game, so expect a parade to the FT line next time around.

I thought Tucker got away with murder last year but that was something else.

Lucky win by boston in a game where Irving own them and KD shoot badly.

celtics is winning this. i thought kd would avg 40 along with kyrie but forgot he was a choker he was a mercenary with stacked gs team. even with simmons back, kd needs to still be the best player or at least better than tatum and brown.

series is wide open, could still go every which way.

Celtics have an advantage ofc..they have HC and are up 1-0
that's def better than being down 0-1

Also the Simmon talks is probably just talk, no way he plays in a meaningful playoff series after so much time off and if Timelord will be back at least at some point in the series, I think that really firms the Celtics chances

I really don't buy that Tatum played incredible defense on KD.

I have seen KD double and triple teamed and still make shot after shot.

He was just off. Missing shots he normally makes.

In order for the Nets to win they need KD to be dominant. Its surprising they nearly won with this bad a game from him.

Still Nets have many other issues. So I don't buy that KD playing well will result in a win.

Late game execution was horrific today.

Big. You guys can’t admit when someone does a good job. Tatum’s defense and length bothered Durant. He got only 2 Poe. Shots all game. Everything else was pretty much contested.

He’s a great shooter. But asking him and Kyrie to make contested shot after contested shot is not sustainable.

As a Nets fan, I'm afraid it's hard to psychologically recover from a loss like this. Celtics got an enormous confidence booster with this win today, while Nets will be demoralized losing in this fashion. I hope I'm wrong but it's a soul crushing loss.

Don't see it that way at all. They were down big and came back. Should have won with their best player looking drunk all night. KD is more likely to be angry than deflated, and I don't think Kyrie's mentality changes win or lose. Just because you're mentally fragile doesn't mean they are.

Last part was a joke, but only kind of. They're going to be fine.

I don't think the Nets see it that way either, that they were down big and came back, only to lose in the end. There are no morale victories in the postseason. Obviously KD needs to be angry and look to be far better, because he seriously did lose us this game today, from start to finish. But what I am also thinking of, it's the confidence boost for Celtics with this win today.

Kyrie is sensational. Probably the greatest scoring threat in NBA history.

I'd call him the best second option in NBA history. Dude won't lead you far as the main guy but as a secondary scoring option in that playoffs idk if there's anyone better.

No one in history had better body control than MJ, the guy was called Air Jordan for a reason. He did things never seen before or since, especially in his pre dynasty years.

Also probably the best post scorer in terms of skillset ever, him or Hakeem.

Kyrie is great, all time great. I could say he had a better handle than MJ. That's where he might be the greatest. And he has more range on his jumper.
MJ was better in every other way though.

Kobe was better during the threepeat. I remember him eviscerating the twin towers and back then he even played defense, which is more than Kyrie can say for any part of his career.
