Unbelievable discipline by the Celts on that last possession. Most guys get antsy and up with tunnel vision and take a bad shot. White, then Brown, then Smart all had clock awareness and were not satisfied with just taking the first shot available, all making a late-clock pass and giving up the chance to be the hero in pursuit of a good look. Crazy impressive possession.

The better Boston play the better I'd be hoping they take out Brooklyn and Milwaukee.

Not sure I'd rather play Boston. And Miami could really be the team to beat in the east. Of course if we make it to GS, that could be a tougher series than anyone, especially if Jordan Poole keeps up his play.

It's amazing how bad both teams are shooting.

How is that not over the back on Giannis?

Bulls had a great chance only needed to shoot 36% FG to win.

Because he had 5 fouls. That was ridiculous.

Becouse if fouls were called on GIannis like they are called on regular guys he wouldn't be playing 20 minutes a game before fouling out. But he is Giannis, and the NBA needs him - so he'll be able to push, go over the back and whatever else he does almost every posession.

The best buzzer-beater play that I have seen in a longlong time. Maybe the best ever with all the controlled moves, meaningful passes, poise, deliberate movement without the ball. Just superb performance there. I love it how the play wasn't a stpd iso with someone taking a contested 28 footer at the end. Should be more of these, team sport and whatnot...

(also, I really dislike Kyrie and KD too, so rooting for Boston here, and hoping TimeLord comes back OK for game 2 or 3)

Giannis is the only player that gets away with so many push offs or charges and gets rewarded for this all the time so it's almost impossible to guard him.

I saw one play he charged into I think Derozen who was stationary outside the circle and DeRozen was called for a blocking foul.

I believe we all saw last year finals here. So no surprises - at least he didn't shoot more FT's himsell than all of the Bulls, which happened once or twice during last year finals against us... But if it comes to that I'm sure he will.

It was seriously ridiculous. It was probably the easiest call to make for the refs all night, and they blew it, on purpose. Refs have to keep the league happy though, or they don't get to ref the playoffs.

Celtics playing unselfish since start of 2022 is not a good thing for suns as it's another team to worry about.

Warriors, Heat, Celtics.... that's the 3 teams suns should worry about.... all 3 has elite 3pt shooting and perimeter defense.

Suns need to make Ayton a higher volume scorer to punish them. Ayton owns Bam and Rob Williams/Horford due to his size and mobility... and also owns Warriors bigs.

Exactly. Ayton may have some problems keeping Valanciunas and Gobert off the boards, but after 2nd round all chances for a title go thru Ayton becoming a threat on offense against those teams' smaller Cs.

Rebounding is team work. Ayton should have Crowder box out for him instead of him going up against Valanciunas and Hayes or Val pushing him from the back. Ayton doesnt flop so Val gets away with it. But Ayton rebounds well against Gobert when they go one on one.... assuming Royce O'Neal doesnt box out.

Suns have a box out problem... but I believe its a strategy as they need Crowder out at the perimeter.... so against big front courts, its Ayton vs 2 bigs or Ayton being boxed out while the other team's center goes for the rebound.

I feel bad for Jokic. He’s playing against this team with all these stars and their all hacking the **** out of him and he’s barely getting any whistle.

I hope they beat this cocky ass Warriors team but I know chances are slim.

Murray is cleared by doctors, if he came back it would make a massive difference in this series.

The new Warriors death lineup of Curry/Poole/Thompson/Wiggins/Draymond is definitely a tough one to defend.

Offensively Ayton has to kill them inside once CP3 or Booker draws Draymond on the switch to the perimeter.

Of course I’m thinking way ahead and we still have five more wins to get before we even reach there but yeah.
