Oddly enough, it might be good for him. Low minutes and frequent rest days are common with Bud around

In reality he fits only one role, specifically the one he has on his mind which is the starting PG who initiates offense. That's pretty much the reason he and Bucks moved on from eachother, he wanted a team where he would have that bigger role. That and the bag of course.

This makes pretty good sense from Washington's perspective - assuming that they're going to continue on the insane path of trying to rebuild around Beal instead of blowing it up and tanking properly.
The Wizards could really use a big point guard like Brodgon, and they have one forward too many so Hachimura is expendable. And KCP is a useful player that Indy can flip at the trade deadline for more value. Playoff teams can always use 3&D vets.
not necessarily long term, those can be very valuable trade chips to be used much sooner than that.giberish wrote:Ryoga Hibiki wrote:I insiste that

Long-term it certainly could be.
But will their current GM be around to reap the rewards?? Will Carlisle???
Since the answer to both questions is most likely no then it really reduces Indy's incentive to make such a move.

I think they should upgrade C over PG. If the Clippers can find a way to trade Morris for Capela they should do it. The Hawks will definitely be shaking up the team this offseason. Hawks could use another shot maker like Morris. Jackson isn't the greatest PG but I'd easily have him over Brogdon who isn't as reliable as Jackson health wise.

I would certainly do that trade (assuming the Clippers can re-sign Covington), but would Atlanta?
I know Capela is more mobile than Zubac, but I fear that most centers have become obsolete in playoff series unless you are playing Denver or Philly. So, I'm not sure how much more helpful Capela would be.
