If you can't out score the sixers with Embiid on the bench, is pretty difficult to win a series

I mean the argument can clearly be that at that point, the damage is done. The Raptors defense has been neutered.

Embiid went to the bench down 1 and got back with a 10 pts lead.

Are you telling me the Raptors offense is so bad they can't outscore one of the worst bench units in the league?

Congrats! I think u just created an alternate reality in which Harden (whose looking and playing great) and only a couple of years removed from being MVP plus Max Harris, plus consumate veteran Danny green, plus rising star Maxey (in some of those mins) is 'one of the worst benches in the league'

nice story, bro :P

Kinda surprised by the sixers, mainly the trash heaps on their team. Harris and Danny green have been great.

Maxey has looked like the best player in the series.

Disappointing tho I thought this would be a better series. The officiating has been bad but raps seem over matched.

It’s comical.

Embiid and Harden push off, slap arms, and then get a foul call the other way for half the contact

Reviewing for a flagrant here is ridiculous.

As if on cue, Raptors fans crying about foul calls already. Is there a nationwide shortage on tissue boxes when Raptors are in the playoffs? Just curious b/c my wife has us well stocked and wondering if I should be ebaying some Puffs Plus.

We were doing so well for a few pages. Do not insult the opposing fanbase.

Honestly it’s been the non embiud minutes that’s been killing them. Embiid hasn’t been good especially by his standards in either game. Aside from his rebounding last game which he dominated.

i mean come on even if you gave 0 fts to harden and joel, raps arent winning a single game. maxey is the best of the series philly has the best 3 players not even close.

Wait till the second round, he will start to suck as usual and will show his choking gene.

He played with a torn meniscus last year and still was a beast in the 2nd round.

Have you see the point differential of the Sixers when Embiid goes to the bench?

Chill man. You can pretend to be objective.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

So what’s better option. Don’t aggressively defend embiid. Let him go something like 8 for 10 with 3 free throws for 19 points.

Or aggressively defend embiid. Have him go 4 for 8 with 11 free throws 19 points?

The results are the same guys. There is no easy answer for small teams trying to defend embiid.

Not saying we would win the game but having Barnes would have helped today.

That's both a compliment to the rookie and to the ceiling of this current team.

Exactly, why does this spoiled team need the disparity?

Having Barnes and helping is an under statement. Kid is good and losing any good player hurts.

I mean the Sixers just look so on. Tobias Harris has looked constipated the last 2 months and this dude is knocking down catch and shoot threes and smiling and laughing

Yea forsure having him in instead of Flynn obviously would be crucial. I see Scottie as minimum the raps 3rd best player and possibly their best passer.
