I think Raps are losing because they aren't hitting shots they need to hit to be winning.

We had a 122ORTG and lost by 20 two days ago.

Yeah exactly, if you were shooting like last game you'd be in position to be winning this one.

Sweep.
This 6'8" experiment has failed. There is a reason teams have guards and centers

i mean raps clearly has the worst playoff team of all 16 teams its not even close. their bandaid was thad young and scottie who is a wing but cant shoot so they forced him to center draymond role. no one is stopping embiid but raps dont even have the bodies to throw and foul embiid.

That's ridiculous. Raptors aren't even close to the bottom of the 16 teams.

Not saying we would win the game but having Barnes would have helped today.

That's both a compliment to the rookie and to the ceiling of this current team.

Yea forsure having him in instead of Flynn obviously would be crucial. I see Scottie as minimum the raps 3rd best player and possibly their best passer.

Yep, FVV is pretty good but his ceiling is limited due to size and lack of elite athleticism , Siakam took a step but isn't a 1st option, OG is a great role player at this point in his career. GTJ is too hot or cold to be relied on.

The Raptors real ceiling is whatever Barnes becomes in a few years and a lot of the players on this roster might not even be here anymore, so *shrugs*.

You guys need an on ball scorer who can actually get their own shot/get by his man.
Someone exactly like demar derozen. Kidding but an elite two guard wing scorer type.

Problem is defence imo. Doesn’t help when whenever we play physical Embiid strolls to the line, and if we play passive Sixers don’t miss from 3.

Unless Toronto has a secret weapon sitting on the bench waiting to be unleashed this one is over.

Just stop it already, we're dead lol

Too many injuries, even Fred has been on a busted wheel for over a month and Pascal is good but not THAT good.

I thought the Bulls will be the one in this position right now not the Raptors. But the Bulls gave a decent fight in game 1

This is becoming one of the worst series I've witnessed as a Raptors fan.

More horrible than Bosh's Raptors vs Nets. Boshs Raptors vs Orlando. And quickly approaching Lowry/Derozan getting swept by the Wizards.

It's bad bad.

It really isn’t. You think Toronto is gonna bail on their entire focus because of 1 series’ in which their stud rookie plays 1 game, GTJ plays suck, and FVV has been hurt for 2 months?

I really, really doubt it. Especially when Boston is doing something very similar and succeeding.

Where Nurse does deserve criticism is his offensive strategies. Even in our title run, his offense was a lot of 'give the ball to kawhi and go'. We had massive cold stretches that playoff run

Raptors will probably get game three then lose in 5. Going to check out the other boring ass game then go to bed. Usually I despise raptor fans but good luck guys, that first half was atrocious and made me root for ya. Hope my team never double flops lmao

We need Barnes to become an All Star/Superstar, but that'll take some years if it happens. Really the only player I think we can get 'maybe' in a trade that'll move the needle is SGA. Otherwise these are just bridge years till we fully build around Barnes.

This reminds me of the Westbrook in theory position, in theory it sounds great, in practice its not good.

Granted if two of your 6'8 players are Lebron and the Claw this would be working (assuming both healthy and on the court)
