Yeah exactly, if you were shooting like last game you'd be in position to be winning this one.

“If Toronto was shooting at a historic pace they’d have a chance to win”

Problem is defence imo. Doesn’t help when whenever we play physical Embiid strolls to the line, and if we play passive Sixers don’t miss from 3.

yeah there is a talent difference and size difference that's hard to overcome. My original point is that their way to overcome Philly is to hit shots and put the pressure on them. Maybe it swings over in Toronto.

Yep. This is the end of that crappy experiment.

It really isn’t. You think Toronto is gonna bail on their entire focus because of 1 series’ in which their stud rookie plays 1 game, GTJ plays suck, and FVV has been hurt for 2 months?

I really, really doubt it. Especially when Boston is doing something very similar and succeeding.

I see no tactical advantage against a bigger team. Philly has shown this. So yes, I do think this 1 series is the end of the experiment. Plus GTJ and FVV are the non 6'9 guys we're relying on to be healthy.

I know the Raps are not 100% healthy but yall need a superstar. All stars Siakam and FVV aint cutting it.

More horrible than Bosh's Raptors vs Nets. Boshs Raptors vs Orlando. And quickly approaching Lowry/Derozan getting swept by the Wizards.

It's bad bad.

your rebuilding yr 1. i feel like your asking too much against a team that supposedly has no future. it should be worse than lowry/derozan. most teams in this stage dont even get to playoffs. now if masai pulled off magic like he did with Kawhi thats a whole different story but all they got was thad thicc young.

If Trent/Barnes don’t play we don’t stand a chance.

I was literally about to say the only chance is if somehow Philly gets stuck with injuries to. Not exactly what I wanted to see tho

Nobody is under the delusion that this is a championship team. This was always a building year and let's see what happens. The guy you think is missing in order to push these two down into 2nd and 3rd options is already on the roster, he's just a rookie and needs a little seasoning, so it's disappointing he's having to watch from the sidelines.

Yeah and those raptors teams were full strength. We got demolished by Washington and were fully healthy

Raps miss Lowry. All they had to do was keep Lowry and add Mo Bamba, that's all ...

As a Sixers fan we are conditioned to kinda expect this. Every year, no matter how smooth things are going or how it looks like it's the year to make a run, this kind of **** happens.

Well I think the end game is 5 of these guys, not a FVV/GTJ with them. We’ve seen lineups of Banton/Precious with the 3 main guys and it’s been really good.

Obviously a real competing team would likely have a guard / centre in the rotation as well. We’re not real worried about roster construction right now. I don’t think anyone expected to be the 5 seee

I **** hate it when the refs call the game differently when the team they hosed in the first half falls behind big. Keep the same energy for the whole game after you didn't allow them to play any defense in the first half.

Great way to hide the disparity.
