IT'S LIKELY: Bronny James is 18 and short (about 6'1/2" barefoot) so his size+skills won't make him a real nba player

If he doesn't make it it won't be due to his height. If he isn't skilled enough and doesn't have enough bball iq he won't make it without Lebron's help. There are plenty of stars that were 6 ft or shorter.

I'm guessing that you are a Warriors fan with that name. Gary is shoooting 62% from the field with per 36 averages of 15ppg, 7.5ast, 3 stl, while being one of the best defenders in the NBA. Most people don't even think that Bronny will make the league without his dad. I can't believe a Warriors fan would feel this way

I watch the games. You stick to just assuming because it's lebrons son. No one thinks that he is a GP level prospect but you

There has also never been a young man that continued to grow after 17 years of age. It’s unfortunate that Bronny has bad genes.

A GP2 level prospect is one hell of a rare prospect - An elite athlete who plays elite defense and has worked for nearly a decade to finally make it in the league, understanding every minute he gets he has to earn. I have a pretty hard time seeing Bronny suddenly developing the athleticism, intensity or work ethic as GP2 (And that isnt to say he has a poor work ethic, just that GP2 is a dog who never, ever gave up on making it and has bought into his role like a maniac)

They say Bronny wakes up at 5am to work on his game everyday...that is what Lebron said.

lebron3-14-3 wrote:So let me address this part. I know that a lot of y'all believe in the "He's grown 2 inches over the summer" meme, but, not. Most of the times, it isn't the case. Men don't stop growing until 24 refers to overall growth, not height. Obviously, there will be exceptions. Overall, the average male growth past 17 is 3/4 of an inch. Also, there's no such thing as a growth spurt. Most of the times, growth is linear. He has been this height for the past 2 years or so
Absolute nonsense.
I grew nearly a foot in 1 year, between the ages 14-15.
I was exactly 5' at the start of year 9 in HS, start of year 10 I was 5'10". I was always the shortest kid in our year up until that point.
I didn't grow much after that, so I certainly had a growth spurt.
On the topic at hand, Bronny will make the NBA just because whoever drafts him knows they'll get LeBron for at least 1 season, if he said he wanted to play with his mother she'd probably be an early 2nd round pick, possibly late 1st round.

I believe he is projected to be a 2nd round pick at this point. He's ranked anywhere from like 30-40 in his class I believe so he's a good player but probably not the star many expected him to be. With that being said, with Bron saying he would like to play with him best believe teams might reach to get him just so they have a shot at getting Bron.
Bronny may turn out better than his draft stock too. He's a good shooter from what I see. He could be a Malik Monk type who is also 6'3

I completely disagree. You act like he has to be a lottery pick. Most 2nd round picks don't make it and a lot of teams trade theirs for cash. You don't think a team like the Wizards would give a 2nd round pick to basically get lebron
i get you and i know that but the package is not irresistable.
as per your example. if i was a former laker now playing on the wiz i would IMPLORE fo to pass. they are own their own now
what does aged lebron bring? well, as we have seen,,,,,NOTHING to a bad team, read '19 '21 '22. one would be delusional if one thinks lebron helps, and i'm not even addressing the nonsense of bron/bronny. we can't even fathom what peculiarities might rear their f'ing head with bron/bronny when lebron HIMSELF was a pain in the rumpuss to FO.
and therein lies the rub,,,will fo want to deal with all that in exchange for a bump in attendence because we sure as sh** have seen that lebron ain't taking ANY team ANYwhere ANYmore
lastly if you're a detroit or orlando fer instance and you have a change at a top4 top1 pick,,,do you waste that chance because lebron pulls you out of the lottery for #1, not only that year but for the 2yrs that lebron plays

As a mid to late 2nd round pick, if it brings Lebron, I'm sure plenty of teams will consider. Good and bad teams.
i doubt it but we'll see as it is soon to happen. ideally it would be the lakers would it not? an org concerned with flash,,,being really bad,,,prolly hard up,,,bron is already there,,,prolly amenable on many fronts to both parties.
how much you wanna bet it WON'T be lal?
and curry squelched that but QUICK. i don't think lbj is as desireable as you think

If anything he'll just have to prove himself in college and see how that goes. His window for playing with his dad is probably done because he probably needs a minimum of two years in college and might not get drafted even with 3-4 years. Unless he is getting drafted after one year simply as a way to recruit LeBron.

He could still grow an inch or two. Giannis grew 3 inches after he was drafted at 18.

Among the other stupid things about this thread, a son of a great player not making the NBA or not being as good as their father is nothing new/special/surprising. In fact, it's pretty rare that great players sons are as good or better than their fathers. Sometimes you have middling-NBA players who's sons become stars, but stars who have stars is rarer.

Glad somebody mentioned it. There's no way Bronny, even if he's good enough to play in the league, would be ready for an NBA roster at age 19.
Unless Lebron is happy to take a G-League stint, he'd likely have to play 'till he's 41 to play professionally with his kid.
