He only shot 11 times and quite a few look forced because they were; if he doesn't take them, he'll have 7 FGAs - and then people would really be complaining about him.

The way I see it, Herro has a case to be paid or leave to a team that will give him a shot to showcase his true ability.

This is Harden/OKC all over again - 6MOY with a rookie contract that will soon expire on an offense that limits the player's ability to earn their full potential salary.

I don't want to see it, but I can't say I'd blame him.

He’s going to be fine brother

So Spo is holding Herro back from scoring? Herro averaged 21 PPG in the regular season. If it wasn’t for the four garbage time three throws Herro averages 10 points in two playoff games. This is a pure mental thing.

Absolutely. How did Spo get outcoached here? His defensive schemes have been in point in bith games.

He def wasn't outcoached. But he played some horrible lineups. And I say that as a Spo defender from irrational hate on this board.

Also the offense does need to be mixed up. I'm not sure if it was just Jimmy feeling it and constantly calling his own number, but there were not many plays drawn for others, Herro most notably.

No surprise the Hawks lost this one. Only one day off after a grueling game one loss. And on the road. Schedule loss.

0 points from Drob. 24 minutes from Bam. Outrebounded by 6. It’s ATL, so Yimmy was enough. But the team has to play better.

Duncan didn't make much sense. He must have a strict quota to shoot at least ONE 3 pointer in 5 mins or be benched for good.

Bam has thigh contusion so hopefully he'll be ready for game 3. If Capela comes back it also changes things

Drobs defense was trash too.

Seriously, a win is a win. This is the playoffs, situations changes game by game. Hawks clearly wanted Duncan nullified so we adjusted and played the bully ball that they think they wanted. You saw how that turned out for them. Bogdon got ridiculously hot in the 4th but no one else; Trae was still in jail. Its not going to be perfect, this ain't the regular season. We still won by double digits where we clearly could had won by more if Bam n Herro plays to their season averages.

Story of D Rob all year. One good game followed by numerous bouts of nothing. Bam was in foul trouble. Maybe a step slow with the quad contusion

Herro was 5-11 for 15 points. He didn't play poorly at all.....he just needs to be aggressive and shoot more. He attempts five more shots tonight....we're probably looking at 23-25 point night.

Duncan is turning into mike miller with a good back, play him when he's going off for 5+ threes. Sometimes it's just hard to find minutes for bench players when starters often play 40 mpg in playoffs

On the Bam injury...I'm going to be sympathetic and just say I'd rather he not play if he's so injured he's going to play like that. There was one play where Herro threw a lob which he caught but clearly couldn't finish. So I see where the injury might have played a part there. However, he didn't even appear to look like he was trying to score or get fouled, despite being inside.

Yeah...if you're going to play like that then sit. Idc. This is the playoffs.

Herro was fine. The fanboys want him to explode but this was Butlers night to nutt.

That said, we know what Herro is capable of.

Drob barely played. Spo chose to go with Martin. DRob didn't take a shot tonight and only played 6 mins. Yall beg for depth then complain when someone don't get mins or touches.

Yup, 3 point specialists explode and then will literally have nothing the next night.

My thing he wasn't shooting. Even when Butler was out the game. He needs to be more aggressive and look for his shot. If he can't average 20, we are not going far in the playoffs.

I more or less agree. I would sit Bam if we are up 3-0, spread those minutes out to more Caleb and PJ minutes with Dedmon. It will be a big blow but worth doing in order to get him the necessary rest because he will need it against Embiid and Harden.

It was Jimmy's night to take shots. And it was awesome to watch. Stop complaining about wanting someone else to take shots. Most likely those shots would of been taken away from Jimmy

He is obviously not aggressive enough in his game approach. Need to see more of that dog mentality from Herro. Should talk to jimmy about that
