Welp, terrible game but you know the Grizzlies were going to come out throwing bombs. They got all their mojo back and needed it going into hostile territory on Thursday. Going to be a massive game. Wolves win, we still got a serious series. If the Grizzlies get another blowout, that may break the camel's back and spell doom.

Wolves are going to have to get some more decisive offense going. Rebounding is going to have to be much better. KAT has to stay on the floor. Grizzlies will go small and try to abuse us. They have rightfully given up on Adams.

Yeah, disappointing is probably the nicest way to put my thoughts on the game...

I don't envy Finch, he has some work to do after that. Players would be down on themselves so it's up to the staff to get them going and believing again.

Looking forward to taking it to our home court and use the crowd to build our confidence and momentum

It’s a little depressing, but remember the goal is to go to the opponent’s home court and get a split.

I definitely agree. I just hope this performance doesn't take too much air out of the fan base.

Yep, that sucked.

That being said, Memphis were always going to come out firing this game, to drop your first two home games would basically be series over so I expected this one to be an L.

We essentially played as badly as we possibly can. None of our big 3 ever really got going the way we know they can and they destroyed us on the O boards. Hopefully the guys have strong words with each other after this one and get locked in to protect home court.

I had a HOA meeting so just caught pieces until the end, but agree we played as bad as possible. You’d hope that at some point the lessons learned would stick for more than a few games, but maybe that’s just a young team. Maybe good for them to get punched in the face to realize what they need to do. Wasn’t ever going to be a sweep so learn and adjust.

Memphis got their asses kicked in MN this year.

DLo need a kick in the ass. I’d bet JJJ and Ja don’t shoot that effectively from the outside, at the same time, again. Punch them in the mouth and get the crowd going early, we shall feast.

If we win Thursday, game 4 is a 9PM Saturday night tip to go up 3-1. That atmosphere alone should motivate the team to get their act together

One other reason for optimism next game? resiliency.

Unlike almost any Wolves team I remember, this team rarely gives up. Heck, we just saw it two games ago against the Clippers. They call it, “not letting go of the rope,” and this team all year has not let one bad game ruin them for the next, or become a string of losses. PatBev is going to get in their ear. Finch is going to remind them how every player on the team needs to be ready to play, and that they can win games with their offense or their defense.

I expect a win in MIN for Game 3. I hope for a win in Game 4 too.

My biggest worry going into this series was defensive rebounding..Wolves did a great job of that in first match but were poor yesterday. Anyways splitting the opening 2 games is a decent start. Need to do a better job at home

Grizzlies are likely gonna go small ball for rest of the series. Finch and KAT need to find a way to counter it

I am starting to get frustrated by these completely unnecessary fouls by KAT, like the tripping of Ja last night. Just stupid.
Kat should stop fighting for offensive rebounds and instead going back on defense. That would result in at least one foul call less per game and also won't put us out of position on the other end.
It's not like he's 20 and in his second season. He should have figured it out by now how to stay out of foul trouble.

This team really underutilizes KAT's 3 point shooting..he should be getting atleat 5 3pt shot attempts every match. KAT is also stubborn at times with trying to do too much. It's kinda frustrating

I agree with the bolded, but here in the USA we call it a game. Are you European or where are you from?
