They have no answer for Joel, and as they found out if you pay too much attention to him other stars on the team will torch them. Philadelphia just has too much talent for the pesky Toronto Raptors. They play hard during the regular season and are well coached but in the post season talent wins and they come up short.

Jo has got to will his garbage teammates into the conference finals. Somehow.

Pity he once again has incompetent FO. Morey spent all year fantasising over washed up Harden and forgot about assembling some decent teammates for Jo.
If he manages to injure enough opposition players the Sixers will walk to the finals.

Guys, Embiid isn't dirty. He's reckless. Not against the rules, but totally uncool!

Joel’s awareness and performance genius goes beyond the court. That interaction with Nurse resulted in Nurse admitting, on camera in the presser "He was saying to me that, 'I'm going to keep making all the free throws if you keep fouling”, and I said, 'Well, you might have to.' Well played, Process.

EMBVIIDP! EMBVIIDP!

Jokic winning over him is going to look pretty ridicoulous after the 1st round.

They really should wait a little more before voting for MVP.

I think pudgy journalists with low-T and a hate boner for Philadelphia shouldn't vote at all.

Joel Posting Less but ISO’ing more..

% of possessions

ISO
2020-2021: 32%
2021-2022: 18.4%

POST
2020-2021: 13.9%
2021-2022: 27.6%

G3 vs Raps: the reason he struggled early was he was posting at the left baseline. That changed when started facing up at the elbow.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

He was feeling sorry for himself tonight and he gave a really lazy, poor effort as far as I am concerned. Im sure the hand was bothering him but you know what dominate on the boards and defense then. Achiewa ran circles around him. These types of games are what his detractors in the national media live for.

Embiid doesn't have the resolve to sustain the effort and intensity needed to get through the playoffs to a championship. He can't get his intensity that high and keep it there like it needs to be during that part of the season. He's good for a "flash in the pan" showing in the playoffs every year and nothing more.

Notice the prevailing quote from him after last night's game is that he needs some other player to be more aggressive. That isn't what you'd hear from any player who viewed himself as the lynchpin of his team's success. Embiid still needs a Jimmy Butler -- that's where he's comfortable, playing second fiddle.

Just in case you're reading this thread: you're an highlander, Joel.

I love Joel to death, but after watching Bucks-Celtics G5 - this is why Giannis is the MVP and a champ, and Joel is not. Dude is a bad man, he'll never let the team loose without a proper fight. You'll never see him being depressed and beaten down, and producing 17/5 stat sheet in a crucial game.

I give Jo a benefit because of all the injuries, but he needs to let go the MPV award and bring the energy. While he is pouting, our season is getting away.

You have no idea what you are talking about, Embiid is amazing and the best thing that has happened to this sorry ass franchise.

Embiid can be an fantastic player who we all love and yet we can still recognize the emotional and physical flaws that set him apart from the true all time legends.

It’s like the David Robinson vs Hakeem debate. It’s not that Robinson isn’t incredible, it’s just that Hakeem has that extra gear and consistency that few players in history have.

Not in love with what Jo said about Harden, even though I know that was Jo's way of trying to stick up for him.

Joel is starting to get a toxic rep.
